I did too! Did I read somewhere that we get a birthday exemption? Mine is Monday (67th!) and I've been given a $50.00 check, and CT's minimum order for free shipping is $50.00, and I love jewel colours, and well..... just well..... Did you notice that their Lover's Knot quilt kit ends up being less than the cost of buying yardage ($5.74 vs $5.96), and it includes a free pattern? That is a great deal.

OK, so I ask for help and you all tell me that it probably won't last long. That tipped me over the edge. I was also hungry and I had a few glasses of wine when I said "to hell with it!" AND placed the order. Now I am here to confess that I had an EPIC fall off the wagon. Don't you just love it when you can blame anyone but your own lack of impulse control for bad behavior? lol

MadQuilter -- you are tipping me over the edge as well. So far my CT shopping basket is at $87.00. I need to reduce it to $50.00 so I can use just the birthday money. But the Kaleidoscope line is so gorgeous. How can I do that? And CT is infamous for not keeping a line of fabric very long. And this one is just gorgeous. Arghh!!!

It is gorgeous, but you'd feel better if you stuck with your b'day $ limit. You know you would. How about just picking a favorite or two from the line? Be strong!

I have resisted the CT temptation but have made some purchases. I am making various table runners, stockings and tree skirts for my kids and families. Purchased yardage for all the projects. I hope this falls under the dispensation rules.

I'm glad I don' know anything about CT.

I got some end of bolts from the sale rack for the cat BOM at my craft club. Also 4 fat quarters same color scheme for the same reason So that was all good.

I got the fabric for the christmas placemat exchange as well. the backing I got on the sale rack. So I'm watching the budget even if I am way over on spending.

As long as no one comes up with a quilt pattern that I can't resist I think I should be good through the new year. (famous last words!)
