Well the dryer sheet fuzz doesn't show where it is hung so that's good. I still want to redo it at the end of the series. The books just don't really look like books.

Bought 2 fat quarters today for the Mt Fuji Series. I measured it out so I had some idea of what I'll need. Still working on the planning.

Well here she is, isn't she a beauty?
Rhonda: I asked for help here on the board under this thread "Does this machine exist?". Wish I knew how to link directly but tried with no success. I outlined what I wanted in a machine, with a budget figure and received some great advice. Being given some names to start with helped a lot. I don't know why the manufacturers of moderately priced machines with a nine inch harp aren't on roof tops shouting the news. "Lady Diana" gave me a great dealers name which I used. Will be happy to share the information.

Oh my, what a lovely machine! If you are still working you won't be able to get home fast enough to start playing.
Thanks for the picture and wishing you many hours of happy sewing!

Emma: Congrats! I would name her Lady Diana. I don't name my machines, but when not in use they are covered with a piece of beaded lace yardage, so they feel like ladies!

What a sisterhood we are! Where else could I go where everyone would totally understand my passion for color and design? Wouldn't even blink when I say I'm loosing sleep waiting for my machine to arrive and would help me name my new baby. I think 'Lady Diana' would be a perfect name, in honor of Diana who helped me locate her. Thank you everyone for your good wishes.

My Purchases stayed within my goals. I got a brown fat quarter for the Asian 3 panel bay window quilts. And I found a musical fabric for my Baltimore Album Memory quilt. So I'm happy. That Asian set is going to use up a lot of my little tiny stash so everything is working out wonderfully. Of course I have a lot going for a beginner lol.
