Emma: What did you get! Very exciting news. I'm not very good, but I love quilting on my Avante.
Befry: good luck on your downsizing. How long before the move?
I've been very bad this last week. That's all I'm going to say on the subject.

Well, PaperPrincess...bad or not...we all want to hear about it. Chances are we can come up with some kind of reason for you falling off the wagon. My visit with a fellow QB-er was so wonderful today. We found we have much in common. She goes by Catsden and before the board changed a few years back, she was Furballs.(Somehow she lost that name and had to resign up.) Anyhow, we had a great visit and sharing of quilts made etc. Here is our picture. I am on the left and she is on the right.

It's so nice to put faces to the names. Lovely ladies for sure.

belfry - she's a beauty. You'll have so much fun on her I'm sure.
Congrats to you and Emma both - how exciting. I suppose that's one way to limit fabric purchases Emma
tk- there's also a lot of information just online. Not sure about that question in particular but have found measurements for other things such as on point measurements, figuring size of quilts needed etc.
Sandy - how wonderful to have a visit with another fellow QB'er. Glad the visit was enjoyable.
Paper princess - just hop back on the wagon.

OK, I am going to jump off the wagon this afternoon. Signed up for a craftsy class on making an overnight bag. It requires home décor fabric, hardware, assorted interfacing, and just plain all sorts of stuff I don't have. So I will go with my stack of coupons in hand to see what I can score. WHY? DH does not need surgery on his shoulder and I am celebrating.

Madhatter, that sounds like a great excuse to me. But then I don't really need an excuse to buy fabric. But lately I've been good. Saving my money for a bus trip shop hop in Oct. Yea!!!!!!
Have fun sewing, shopping and quilting everyone.

I started working on the blocks for a boomerang swap. It is so rewarding to go to the stash and pull from there, rather than have to go to the store. So far I have been able to pull fabrics for every piece I was sent, from leopard print to lilacs. Pretty cool, I think!

Paper Princess: It is a King Quilter, not a well know brand but I purchased it through Sewing Machines Plus and they do a pretty good job of standing behind their sales. Although for me it was a huge purchase it was a reasonable price compared to most LA's on the market.
