I've been doing pretty OK, but went to my club meeting at the LQS and a couple yards of sale fabric (neutral, of course) followed me home. On the up side, I just got 2 throws done, all from stash and am meeting my niece & gr niece at the cottage tomorrow & they want to do a project, which should eat up some more stash.

I am sooo excited! Just found some fabric in my stash for a border on a charity quilt made from my stash! I knew I probably had some, but my stash is so unorganized (mainly because it is not all in one location!), I never thought I'd be able to find it! Going to go cut borders now. Have a great day!

I've been working UFOs and digging through my fabric and patterns to decide what I want to do next. I have so many ideas and lots of fabric, I just need to match the fabric with the patterns.

Every day this week, we've been going to the Cancer Care center for hubby to have his second and should be last round of chemo. We have to pass by the best store for fabrics. It has quilt shop quality fabrics for around $3.99/yard. I didn't stop in to even look once. I knew better. I did stop at Joann's, but I had coupons and the rest of my gift card and I needed a couple more cutting mats. I bought them and nothing else.

I really need to get rid of what I have for fabric, DS wants a queen size quilt and I never did make him a Christmas tree skirt, so I want to do both.

Hubby asked if I could make a "Tree of Hope" wall hanging for the Cancer Care Center, so I did some research and found some samples of things he might like and will use what I found to draw out a few things for his approval. I have loads of fabrics to use and I should be able to get it done without buying a thing. I'm looking forward to starting that, but I want to finish the Double Wedding Ring for our bed first if I can.

I have so much fabric. I bundled a lot and donated to our country store for our quilt show in March. I am doing a "Jane" with a group this year - when I decided on colors, I told our group and they have donated some to me...think I will have plenty. Other projects I am using what I have...oh, and am sewing some small scraps together to make "new material" which can be used in modern projects! So far, I have not spent any money on material in 2016!

Went to JoAnn's today with my 60 percent off coupon. I got a package of mixed embroidery floss for my crazy quilt. No fabric, my friend went with me and talked me out of it.
