I’m nearly finished with my Lattice Garden quilt. It used a little more than 1.5 yards from my stash. The batting & thread were also from stash. I had to buy the back, but Joann’s had their spring sale yesterday & I bought 2.5 yards for the back, plus 5+ yards of two more fabrics-one is a white-on-white & the other is going to be a background for a quilt I want to make for my older daughter. Wed she had a “stroke-like event” at age 43! Way too young. She’s home & doing pretty well but I still want to make her a quilt. Those 7.5+ yards of fabric cost just under $30 with the sale & a coupon. Almost all of the backing was used so only a few bits are going in stash.

Oh goodness, Conchalea! Way too young for something like that to happen. I pray she continues to do better with each day. A quilt made by mother's hands would be wonderful. No matter how old we become, we always need our mom when illness strikes. Good job on the bargains and planning of your purchases.

Oh, Conchalea, I’m so sorry to hear about your daughter’s TIA. So scary. I’m glad you were able to concentrate enough to sew. Prayers being sent.

I've been busy, using up stash. This is the front and back. Think I like the back best.

Petthefabric, I like both sides! Looks like a box of chocolates! I want to thank everyone for the kind remarks about my daughter. I live half a mile from her & see her often. This stroke of hers has thrown us all in a tailspin.

Frog sewing here again, too. I think every section of the fan quilt has been quilted twice - not because of the machine, but because I didn't care for the way I did it.

Beautiful, petthefabric!! I love both sides.
Irishrose....we are a picky bunch, aren't we? To us, it probably would have been wonderful the first time but the artist has precedence. Lol!
