Oooo, thanks for the idea WMUTeach, I have more blues than any other color in my stash and recently found a nice piece of pale that might be just perfect for the background.... also just a nice setting option for using a large scale print in the center instead of the pieces, those little squares on point in the cornerstones really makes it interesting.

WMUTeach: Very pretty quilt. Thanks for sharing the link. I need to save this idea.
Iceblossom: I like the idea of a single block in the center. I have lots of 6.5” squares cut that could be used in the center. It would be a great way to use up 2.5” squares sitting in a drawer too.

Approx 40 x 56 gift for a friends new grandbaby. 100% from stash - including the batting (seriously - its a jigsaw puzzle in there)
I used the envelope / inside out method from Alana Crafts YouTube channel. Really happy with the results.
Nickname: fastest baby baby quilt in the west. 2 hrs to piece top and about 4 to quilt and finish. Batting took longer so I'm not counting that time.
I have more of all 4 fabrics so I might make another "spare" to have around. Are spare baby quilts a thing??

A cute quick quilt,Rff1010!
I just figured out stash fabric for the QOV quilt I'm making...1 3/4 yards plus the 1/2 yd for binding and will use 2 3/4 yards new fabric in sashes and border.
Onward to the next one soon. I will have used almost 3 yards of stash plus the binding and will need to get 1 yard for the border.
