but for free motion quilting the 1630 is easier to drop the feed dogs, and the pedal driven needle up, needle down, also the knee lift of the presser foot.............then if you need to remove stitching it is easier. I can drop the feed dogs on the 301 but it is a bit intimidating when they thunk down and in the back of your mind you know this is a 60+ year old machine.

seems to me BH or rather her publishers, changed it to March 2015 because this one and one other are going to be published as separate booklets. Think I read this on her site...but always the possibility I drempt it.

Math geniuses needed.....can anyone figure out about how much of the neutral fabric has been used so far or how much more we'll need? I'm using one fabric that pulls everything together and I'm worried I won't have enough. Sadly, it's possible that I was so preoccupied that I forgot to make sure I had enough to begin with and I have no idea when or where I purchased the fabric. Ugh.
