Such lovely finishes everyone. Thank-you for carrying me for a while. When My Longer armer gets back from summer vacation I will have a few more UFO's completed. Probably in July or August. I have 2 or three waiting to be quilted.
I'm still working on WIP BHMQ 2016. I figure another 2-3 weeks to complete the top. I'm 3-6 1/2 square blocks short. So have to go back in my stash and find a few more scraps of background fabric. Then I can finish putting together the last 3 15 1/2" blocks and start putting it all together. I'm so excited about finishing this project. I'm making progress, Just not on my UFO's. Next project maybe. |
Ok, I am procrastinating on my three UFO projects and two of them need done this weekend. Yucky. They just are tedious.
|
I have a finish for June. I have had this quilt in the works for more than a year. I will get pics within the next few days.

QuilterMomma #1244, TEDIOUS, does require persistence, we know that you will work it out

This has been around for a long time waiting to be finished. I think it was an E. Burns pattern with the word Stones in the title. Sorry if pics are large. My editing software doesn't work.... or I am to dense to figure out how it works!

Love your color choices. Great job.
|
Awesome finish Anne, the colors sing w/ that white.
|
anne2016, so bright and cheerful.
|
I like your color choices and the way the white squares show off the secondary pattern.
Nice! Rob |
Anne2016 #1247, just loving the colors combination and the white setting off the 'irish chain effect.'
Happy sewing everyone |

I'm not sure how long these have been hanging in the closet, at least 2 years, but it seems they just kept getting shoved to the back. Finally finished these this last week. They were made from the birthday swap candies and the dresdan is from leftover scraps from several Boom swaps.Slowly but surely the closet is getting emptied.

Terrific finishes, ladies! :)

jaba....great finishes. The first scrappy one is a scrappy beauty!. Scrappies are my favorites and I really like that pattern.
|
Such a pretty finish, anne! The white makes it look so fresh and crisp.
Beautiful scrappies, jaba! |

Jaba like your quilts . QM great Art quilt. Anne like your quilt.

I like those scrappies, Jaba. Great patterns for the Birthday swap candies.
|
The hardest part of that piece is I did it all on my domestic machine. They are mostly Cindy Needham designs.

Anne2016 & Jaba -- wonderful finishes. I love the colours in Anne's quilt and Jaba's are truly scrappilicious.
Quilter Momma -- nice wall hanging. I finished another one. This was a block swap on another board about 3 years ago. I assembled the blocks at a quilt retreat in Branson then put it in a drawer and forgot about it so pulled it out last month to quilt it. I finally finished it yesterday. Oh my, Belfrybat, that is soooo pretty. Lovely colors. Glad you got it finished. Will it be gifted or are you keeping it for yourself?
|
Belfrybat, lovely colors. Purples, Pinks, and Greens always make for a sweet combination.
|
Thank you. It's a charity quilt -- about 60 x 60".
|
Congratulations on your finish! It's so colorful and cherry! toot, toot!

Belfrybat, love the soft colors in your quilt. I just want to cuddle it:)
QM, nice landscape...that is one thing I have never tried, well that and paper pieced beauty. I swore to myself this year these UFO's were going to be done so they could be donated to a worthy cause. Here's 2 more to add to the 3 I just posted. These were made from the candy swap too. Sewed the binding on or they wouldn't be done. Have to show you a pic our littlest grand daughter. She's been walking for about 2 1/2 weeks and going great guns! Myla will be a year old July31st. Can't wait, she'll be here for 8 days on the 30th of this month |
I love all of the scrappy quilts everyone has completed, OH so pretty!!!:) That is my focus for the next few years. To do several of the scrappy quilts I had on my wish list, (I have 2 completed). Keep completing the UFO's everyone.
I decided to complete a UFO RWB table runner. I have 12 days. I can do this!!! |
Jaba, you have a very pretty little helper. Her outfit is so cute and pretty. I hope you have fun with her stay.
|
Congrats jaba!....great finishes. Your little grand-daughter is adorable!
