I have used a product called Laminate It. Used it to cover two dressers with fabric and they have held up beautifully for years. No need for any top coat of varnish to protect.

I had the same problem and then bought two inexpensive book shelves and spent two days "bonding" with my fabric as I wrapped each piece around cardboard and put them in their appropriate color coded...

Congratulations. My grandson was born 28 weeks early and was 2# 13 oz. He will be eight this months and is precious and doing well. We spent 3 months traveling to the hospital to be with him.
