I'll be manning the table for the Quilt Ministry at holiday bazaar. There are in excess of 40 quilts and I don't know how many potholders. Not exactly quilting ( which I would much rather be doing!) but talking quilts all day long, so I figure it's close.

I will be altering (hemming) a couple of dresses, and making a slip to to wear under one. Why are there no slips at any of the stores anymore? I found some on line, but they cost more the the dresses. Rant done, now to the sewing machine.

I'm totally with you!! Heavens, try searching for maternity slips! Even online is near impossible. I'm glad we quilters can shift gears when needed to sew clothes too. I've got three pregnancy dresses I will be making soon, with my third baby now on the way.

I am in! This is the first Saturday in a month that I can claim the whole day to myself! The sun is shining and it’s 10 degrees outside (goofy MN weather) so housework and sewing room tasks are planned.

Wonderful projects are being shown. Thanks Raggiemom for hosting again.

    Sewing room goals:
    1. Finish the last 2 blocks of a mystery

    2. Add 2 rows onto the flimsy on design board

    3. Clean off/organize my cutting area

    Have a great day!

I'm hoping to join all of you later today and definitely tomorrow. I laid my latest top on the bed yesterday and decided it really needs another row in width (even tho this was not supposed to be for our bed but I love how it looks). That means 23 blocks more but I did have 2 extra and 2 that just needed a little tweeking, so as of supper time last night I had the 19 necessary about 2/3 done. So close!!

Promised DH to help with all the touch up painting etc. to finish off our kitchen reno this morning. Grrrrr

I finished quilting my Modern X quilt and did the first binding sewing on the longarm machine. Now I can flip it over and sew it down on my regular machine.

Good morning all. I love the many lovely projects being worked on.

I plan to work on 5 projects. Only completing 2 of these projects. Wash BHMQ fabric (1/2 way done), Bind 9-patch king size quilt. Cut out and start sewing on Double Irish Star king size. and hopefully get all of my 2-300 flying geese squared and 1/2 made into 15 start blocks and make 15 snowball blocks. Work on my UFO alfghan while watching Nebraska and Kansas city football games.

Happy Veterans Day weekend everyone. Thank-you to all who served and are currently serving.

I quilted a sandwich last night... lap quilt for donation. I need to quilt the sashing and borders today, and then I can bind it.

I also want to get caught up on the Double Irish Stars BOW, before the next blocks come out on Monday.

    Pictures later...

Wow, all of these projects are beautiful, and so inspiring! I am working on a baby quilt with embroidered sea animals. It is very simple and easy so I hope to get it sewn together and hopefully sandwiched this weekend. Maybe a quilting pattern selected.

Grannies G, can you tell us the name of the arrow quilt and where to get the pattern. I love it and would like to make one too. Thanks.
