Exactly except you typing instead of talking. I would like to do a video chat one day if I could figure the logistics of that one out.

DD does that with something called Skype if I spelled it right. My DGD was living in Florida so it was wonderful.

Thank you, BoJangles. I've sent messages to both the owners of the machines on ebay to have them measured.

That 9 inches would be a big improvement over the Elna's seven inches, besides I can't drop the feed dogs on that one. I guess I need to work my way to my Kenmore and see what it measures. I have quilted at least two quilts with it in the past.

We are having Pork Steaks with black eyed peas, fried cabbage and corn bread. Just a simple country dinner.

Actually, besides prime rib and sweet potatoes, we are also having shrimp, a different type of jello salad, baked potatoes (for those who don't like sweet potatoes) and an unknown vegetable(s) and dessert. We are potliucking it with friends. On the other hand, have actaully managed do some quilting today - working on finishing a project for DHs coworker. Happy New Year to all here.

I heard back from one of the owners of the Whites. A seven inch throat is no improvement over what I have.
No dinner here. It hurts my lung area to eat since my accident Monday.

My husband just discovered another old Singer out in storage. I think it was his mom's or his sisters. We have had all of their stuff since they both passed away. The serial # AD493163 which makes it a model 15, allotted 1-6-33.I will send pictures soon.
