Finally!! I have been battling a very sore and achy back for the last two days but I was determined to finish this project so that I can start my Christmas sewing. Thank goodness there are only two grandkids and comfy/sleep pants are quick to sew.

Thanks to the tutorial by AngeliaNR, here is my king sized boxes of strings quilt top. And thanks to a couple of good friends who own a longarm, I will be quilting this one myself!

BattleAxe...love your quilting progress...can’t wait to see it finished.
QuiltingVagabond, mending is such a chore but you’ll be happy to have it past you.
Rob, I’m glad to hear you were feeling good enough today to get some quilting done.
Feline fanatic, your quilts are wonderful...so many interesting blocks.

I did not work on my LongTime Gone quilt as hoped...instead I did a few blocks from a quilt along that I started this summer. It was a Riley Blake project called “Meet the Makers” Riley Blake did it in solids but I have a few batiks sitting in my stash so that’s what I went with. The last part of the QAL are 25 “alternate” blocks that fit in with all of the other ones.

I just finished reading through everyone's posts and really enjoyed the pictures. I stayed off the computer yesterday and today and actually quilted! And I'm proud to say that I am caught up on Eleanor Burn's Fun on the Farm and A Quilting Life's BOM. And I completed the ornaments that I wanted to. So it has been a really successful weekend for me . I even cleaned up the room when I was done. Now I'm all set to work on another WIP tomorrow. Looking forward to quilting with all of you again next month!

Congratulations to everyone on your sewing projects!

Rryder: I am glad you are feeling better.

I finished the blocks for the 20th Mystery Train Ride and have chosen my sashing. I cleaned up some odds and ends around the sewing room and am almost done with the quilt on my design wall-one more long seam. Whew!

A gal from church asked me if she could come to my house today and drop off rolls of fabric that were her mother's. I decided I would pick them up myself on my way home. I have a full size car and my trunk, back seat, and passenger seat were full of boxes. The fabric was intended to be used on a loom to make rugs so they range in size from 1/2" to probably 2.25" width. I have a big sorting job in front of me. I will keep what I can use and pass the rest on to someone else.

I love your sashing too Battle Axe. It looks wonderful on the board. Your printer will be a joyous thing especially for Applique. I managed to quilt 2/3 of my little quilt and hope to finish out tomorrow. Then on to binding.
