panel quilts are good way to practice FM! You just follow the lines on the fabric.

Whenever I've needed anything she's let me go dig through their bins of spare parts first - this is the 1st part I've actually had to buy... and I dont really want to wait another month to get the right one. I figure the $6 I paid for this is fair enough trade for all the other parts she has given me.
$6 I think I've paid more than double that for one! Stick it up on the for sale on here.

I do not know. I am resisting the temptation to contact the seller and ask them what dream world they live in. That IS the most outrageously priced vintage machine I have seen... I think :?:
If you read the rest of the ad, the seller says that $1600 is not an unheard of price for the machine. :shock: :roll:

There is a Singer Slant yahoo group that is friendly. The 500 and the 301 both fit in that category. What I like about the Yahoo groups is a chance to look into their files. Lots of good info in there.
