Anael - that looks like a great camera. I have a Canon Power Shot, but it is a much older model. I may need to get a new one!

QNS - I am finally feeling better after my second 5 day Z pack for my bronchitis and sinus infection. Not fun, I'll tell you. Hope the antibiotics and decongestants work quickly for you!

Okay ladies, now we are sharing our "colds" around the RV. Way too "real" and not so "virtual". Take time and rest you, two.

Waiting for my DS and BIL to drive in--got a late start so will be an hour or so before they get here. Guess I'll fold some clothes while I wait! Night all.

Honchey....you can hide but we still think of you. Take good care of yourself!
QuiltE....congratulations on your PC. Worth the midnight oil to get it completed. How many more places will you enter it yet this year?
QNS....loved the tour of your yard. No wonder you enjoy it so much. Do take good care of yourself.
Jeanie...glad you're feeling better. Stress can do strange things to our body. Hope the remodel will soon be on track to completion.
Anael...what a joy for you to see the little ones regularly. How soon will you know if Isa is responding as they had hoped to her surgery?
Dubib...the mailman knew we were talking about him! Can't wait to see the blocks.
Carrie...now is the time for some GFG. Did you see the beautiful one in the picture section a mother made during all of her waiting time?
OK...what an adventure you will have on your trip. Hope both of you stay well and your bones don't protest from the long hours of sitting on the plane. Take along a couple of mug rugs as gifts and I bet you won't have any trouble finding other quilters! We are world wide.
Mirabelle....your daughter is beautiful. I wish her continued success. I really like your son's quilt! What is your next project?
DD....keep popping in just so we know your're out there lurking!
Janie...when are you going south again? How long will you be there?
Jan...yes I'm serious. I'll take that box in the closet. You need a fresh start anyhow. You have my address and I'll pay the postage. Are you practicing relaxing? I don't think any of us are born loving all aspects of quilting but we are all learners or we wouldn't be quilting in the first place.
I've got all of the blocks made for the baby quilt and over half of the pieced blocks for the WW quilt. Today I'm planning to work in the garden this morning before it gets hot. I have to mulch but there are still some squash and cucumbers I should plant. Have a good day everyone!

I will pick up the meds tomorrow, dh and I are going on a Iowa Shop Hop swing starting from my hometown West, (Highway 2) then North and back East (on highway 34) in a circle back to my hometown. About 200 to 300 mile total. DD is all upset that I am sick and going on a FART...I told her I was not dead yet!! Not sick enough to warrant hospital or shots from the doctor, just meds which we will pick up tomorrow. Resting up today with laundry and sewing.

OksewGlad, enjoy your visitors this week. Dh siblings are all too Irish to ever visit us again and brother told me Good-bye when he moved South three years ago. So sad, but all too real. Not the way we were raised, but that was years ago. And if we were to die in an auto crash together, they would all race in to steal everything they could before our kids got to the house. Human nature is not perfect, its just the way it is. 'No man is on an island' is old saying but I sure feel like we are most of the time. But with internet and QB, I can reach out to the virtual RV and enjoy this PC journey a little longer.

Love hearing about all the families and their fun; the way I was raised. It brings back a lot of good memories of childhood. Love all the postings of FART trips and quilting tops, finished tops. Love the news of well deserved ribbons and prizes, the joys of finishing quilts for family members. Makes me smile.

Yeah, a FART! I wish I could go with you!

Here's my Attic Window. I called it Birds in the Window, didn't make a label though.

and a close up of the quilting. In the corners I did Desert Sands, a design from Leah Day.

GG, about Isa's eyes we don't know. She has to go back next week. I think when she's growing we will know.

Anael, love your 'birds in the window' and the quilting you did on it. Wish I could do as well on free hand quilting. And the little purple flowers are very pretty and showy...what are they called?
