I checked out wal mart and Lowes-no luck.

Goop works just fine as long as you are using non-pumice Goop! Actually, I remember seeing Goop in one of Billy's tutorials!

Nancy

I've used both, but I really think the GoJo works better.

Saw this machine on CL anyone interested?

Kind of pricey--especially since it looks like that might be rust.
I have one in fairly good condition in a treadle. Unfortunately, it does not have buffalo decals outlining the bed. Mine has magic lanterns. (Think Aladdin.) I can't tell what decals this one has, but the center decal looks great.

Sell it and buy a Davis.

Ditto... or buy *something* fabulous! If you really feel you need to be using a walking foot (I don't...) there are new ones that work just fine, for about $20?

I recently got a black 301A for $75 including shipping. Had to buy a new power cord and tensioner, as the springs were DOA. She sews great now. Little workhorse of a straight stitcher.

Miz Johnny, that picture is my machine ( the Leader) with a few differences. I assume that one is a handcrank as the wheel sits differently. My shuttle winder is lower and my little cirlcle that covers the interior workings is plain - yours is embossed. The decals of what looks like an ugly dog with wings are identical as is everything else. My instruction manual has a boxed P on it which makes sense. I lifted the machine back to check for any ID and what I found was a lot of lint and dust. Poor baby needs a spa treatment for sure. My

Thank you helping clear up the mystery.

The site I sent you to was Damascusannie's. I have no idea where my little Dragons are!! I think those decals are awesome, though--a lot of red, if I recall. Now I need to remember where I put them!!
