Penni, are you concerned about weight because you are having it shipped? Yup, asking the guy would help. Good idea, that didn't occur to me, a duh moment!!

No, would not be shipping it, I just can't lift heavy things. And my Viking is so heavy. I can't afford a FW, (although I am sure I will find one some day!) and wanted one a little lighter to take to my classes. Penni

I meant my sewing machines in the Studio LOL!!

See if you can find one of the Aluminum 99's out there, now they are just a bit heavier that a Featherweight.
