A quick question for anyone that knows. I've been 'acquiring' old Singers (so far, a Model 15, 101, 66 and just bought a 99K for my daughter). How do you know what size bobbin for these. It doesn't state in the manuals. If they aren't the standard ones I can get at Joanns or LQS, where can I find them?

Also, are the attachments interchangeable between some of these?

Well the 15 uses class 15 bobbins the 66 and 99K uses a class 66 bobbin. The 101 I am not sure what bobbin it uses.

All of the accessories should interchange with each other since they are all low shank machines.

Hi Hi Hi, I just did my first bidding on e-bay and got a 221 Featherweight. I am soooooooooo excited and can't wait to see it when it is delivered. It needs a light and I think the belt will need replacing soon! But other then that it is lovely. I will need to get a manual I am thinking as I did not see one with it in the pictures~

Oh, I forgot to mention.. This is my Mother's Day Gift :) I was so nervous bidding and waiting it out. I was so lucky to only have to wait 3 1/2 hrs for the bidding to come to an end!! Happy Mothers'Day to ME :D

Sharon, your featherweight is beautiful. I think I looked that one the other day and no one had bid on it. When you saw it did it have any bidders? I am so glad you won it. Wow. ;)

I did an earlier post today on my old treadle I found. I need some advice on how to clean the machine itself. It is greasy, sticky dirty!
