Okay, here are the pictures of my "Federal" Japanese made sewing machine. The serial # is B6331K and she's a style 414 model. I am missing the bobbin plate cover (redundant terms??), a manual and accessories. Can anyone help?? Will add pics later.

Yep! Makes perfect sense to me Melody! :) I'm too impatient for that...I'd be buying one off ebay if I couldn't use the machine!

Who knows... I might end up doing that. I'm not real patient either.

OK, this is a Graybar, which I have never heard of, that I am considering. The owner gave me these two numbers: N17680 and r8r103. Anyone know ever seen one of these?
Sorry, these pictures are giving me fits on my own computer. You will have to download them if you want to see them.

It looks to be essentially a model 66 from the mechanics of the machine and even the bobbin plate for one looks like it would fit. If you could pick one up at a sewing machine repair place or a Singer dealer you can get on from there. It will more than likely use the same class 66 bobbin and possibly the same accessories. It looks like it is a low shank machine but it you want take the foot off of the machine and go to Hancocks or JoAnns and look at their feet and compare the shank height.
I bet it sews like a dream!!!

Here is a Singer machine that I bought at church yard sale today. It was $40. The person selling it said everything work, just needs a new belt. Here is the serial #: AE 658095. Any information about it will be greatly appreciated!!
