Vintage Sewing Machine Shop.....Come on in and sit a spell

Billy, you're welcome to drop in here if you make it to the San Diego area. Also, my sister is in eastern Nebraska just off I80 if you need a stop there.
I have felines that will welcome you too.
I'll take Char's warning and probably not take you up on a ride although it would be a thrill. :shock:

It has a vibrating shuttle and takes hollow bobbins. The top leaf tension, which I'd never even heard of before, and that took me ages to figure out how to use properly, is genius in keeping perfect tension.

Looks like I found another machine for my ever growing wish list!!

I hope this posting is ok. Years ago I collected 37 vintage sewing machines in various states of disrepair, They have been stored in my cellar for most of that time. I now need to get rid of several of them.
I will be at my Cape Cod home and looking to get rid of them from June 10 - 28th. (I am currently living in CA) If you live in the Cape area and are at all interested give me a call on or after June 10. Several of them will be free, just need to pick up. My number is 508 878 2957 my name is McCall.

Thanks for posting this I am sure some of us here are around that area and would love to get in on the sale!!
Ruth, I think your right about the Feather Weights and the average Joe seller, all it is to them is a little sewing machine and most think they are toys or novelties as such.
Billy
Thanks for the heads up!

Billy;
I'm in Leavenworth, KS, which is on the eastern edge just off I-70 if you need a place to crash for the night. We're dog and cat friendly just so you know. Brought the cinnamon rolls plus a bottle of Bailey's for the coffee for those of us within walking distance of the shop. :) :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
