I just don't get it. Months ago while researching a vintage machine I came across NB. At that time I discovered that it was a closed door unless you were a member. Well, it is sad to see this kind of selfishness.
My feeling is that the machines will out live us. So, why be so secretive about the information on the machines? And selective? Why is NB that protective? If you make the information available to the public, then the person who has now become the steward of the machine will be educated on that machine and its history. Plus, they are apt to take better care of the machine.
Theresse sent me a private message asking for help posting her pictures of her vintage machines that she has already posted on QB. So, here are the links:

She is actually the second to just show up. The first was one of my 301A's and I totally LOVE that machine!!

Well, guys & gals, dh got the FW running like a top!! I am soooo happy. there was a pc of thread/lint behind the bobbin shuttle, then he didn't have something lined up right and the needle hit the shuttle, then the needle had a slight bend in it from hitting. All said & done h's pretty pleased with himself. LOL so am i. Got going and couldn t seem to stop. cleaned, oiled the other FW, my old Kenmore, and the newest Janome. Keeps going on about the new one cause of all the plastic. scared him. newest and most expensive by far. thank you everyone that helped me figure this out over the past few days. YOU ARE ALL WONDERFUL!!
What is the decal called on this machine? At first glance I thought it was a Red Eye, but it's not a model 66 and the decals are not Red Eye. Does anyone have any idea?
