I have loosened the needle, the foot, taken the bobbin out. But still have the problem. Do I have to cut off the corner of the quilt to get it out????? Thanks for any info you can give me. KK
It also squeals when I sew - is there a belt inside that needs to be replaced??

Can someone tell me what kind of machine these go to? Found them in a batch of Singer attachments.
Your machine is very pretty. My mom has the twin, just bought it back from a lady she had sold it to years ago. I have been helping her clean it up some, and it sews a fine stitch for sure. Enjoy yours!!

Surprise! The machine we picked by the dumpster is a 15-88 in a #22 cabinet, born in 1933. Upon further investigation, it is in much better shape than we first thought. Decals are 90%, one leg has been stripped and will not screw on. The #22 is stamped on the inside of the cabinet. When we dared to fire it up, she sewed right away. Will post pics when her beauty bath is complete. Right now she is kinda naked.
