Thanks, Anne. EQ7 has a ton of Pineapple blocks and I want to make sure I do the right one. I love doing Pineapple blocks.
Carrie, we're getting your storm later today. Going on a mini-FART, just Joanne's and of course lunch. Storm isn't supposed to hit until 6pm so will be home in plenty of time. Actuallly, the sun is shining--it's so bright it's almost blinding (or is it the fact that out of the last 43 days we've only had 3 days without clouds and snow????) Not used to sunshine.
Have a great day everyone. Peace.

JanRN ... I'd take your clouds ... though I do like the sun and the cheer it brings, the brightness has been a real killer for me and my photophobic eyes. Sunglasses just do not cut it, for me.
Me? off to the dentist ... a tooth broke on me on the weekend. I so DO NOT like going to the dentist, so this unplanned visit makes it all seem even worse!

Yup, QuiltE....this is the one.
Enjoy your FART, Jan. That many days without sunshine would get anyone down so now there is sun and fabric. What better way to cheer quilters heart!
Anael must be washing the kitchen curtains. She reviewed my mystery block and gave her stamp of approval.
Today is another PC day. I got one border on yesterday which inspires me to keep going and get this one done. I also pulled out the FWS book and will start having some of the last blocks cut and ready to piece when I get bored with other stuff. All of the predicted storms have fizzled for us so it's hard for us to believe that we will get 3 inches of snow today.

I will tell all when we get our storm here. Can do without the ice; moisture in snow is good for the soil. Do I go to town before the storm or after the storm passes through???? QuiltE, it is good you are going to fix that broken tooth quickly, then you can stop worrying about it.
Thank you, Honchey, for the pineapple pattern; now everyone can make that same pattern for GG.
Thanks, Carrie, about the envelope.

Ggal--keep it up on the PC borders and you will get there! I felt like I was so close on getting mine done and things kept happening to put it off, but it was so rewarding to say "it's done!" Can't wait to see yours all together.
Jan--have fun shopping today and enjoy the sunshine.
Today I will just be getting ready for my retreat....just finished digging out crockpots and packing the kitchen stuff I need to take. Later will shovel a path to the clubhouse and work on packing sewing stuff. Since this is the 5th retreat we've hosted the packing is pretty quick....I am a list maker so keep my lists. Also need to make name cards today...we do secret sisters and since not everyone knows everyone, this is the easiest way for the ladies to know who their "sister" is....hope all have a great day!!

Anne to prevent that I open another tab on the same thread. Then I can keep my reply box open and check back on the other tab. I always have more than one tab open. It may be FB or my email, who know.
DH problem may be disc related--a month of therapy to see if it improves. If not then surgery. It's going to be a long month and longer if surgery is involved.
Gotta go play farmer again.

OK-- Has your DH had an MRI? I would say if insurance will approve it to get this sooner than later (based on my DH experiences). My DH had a bad back...PT did give him some relief for a while so hope that yours get some too. He did end up having surgery for a ruptured disc, and after that the pain was pretty much gone. Praying your DH can get relief without surgery, but if he does need it can heal quickly afterwards.

Latest update: Isa is still doing great! If all goes well she will take her first bath on Thursday! I hope we will be there and my DDIL is allowed to do it.
Bram needed some blood yesterday and is still on the ventilator. Otherwise no news.
I'm off to a meeting, CU all later!

I'm back from my mini-FART and I learned something at Joanne's today. I had about 15 coupons, 50% off. I had some yardage, most of it was on sale 30% off so I figured I couldn't use my coupons. Check-out gal says "oh I'll just ring the items up at full price and then take your 50% off". Wow-that worked out great. I didn't know they would do that. Am I the only one who didn't know this or was this an especially nice checker? I used 9 coupons, only one item wouldn't scan at full price but it was on sale anyway.
Come on, Ggal--I'm rootin' for you! Get those borders on, you can do it. Can you see the finish line just ahead?
QNS, my son is flying into St Louis tomorrow. How's the snow situation there? He was supposed to go to Milwaukee but they moved his meeting because of the snow in Wisconsin. (OMG, he's 40 yrs old and mama's still worrying about him LOL).
Anael, thanks for the update on the Sewgrands. Still sending prayers.
Anne & QE, what is it with this being "dental season"? The 2 of you and MrJanRn. He broke off a tooth last week and has an appt tomorrow. I rank going to the dentist right up there with y-seams.
Bev, I never congratulated you on your new GS--enjoy him. They are priceless (even mine at age 19 is usually priceless but also can be a PITA!)
