In case you are wondering the machine is not in the Drawing room cabinet that is on Bostons CL. The seller just mailed me asking if I still wanted it. I explained that I had a 21 hour one way drive to get it and was needing some more information. I need to know if the treadle parts are still there and what came in it. But it is still very tempting to hop in the truck and go get it, and I have not ruled out doing just that.

Are the treadle parts missing, also? Billy, you must know someone  who might have access to the missing parts :-D

I wish you success!
I havent heard from them yet but it is a 1372 mile trip one way. And I am looking at 21 hours or less to get up there to get it. I have done this for a car before (1957 T-Bird in Boston) so its not out of my scope of things to do. But I was a hell of a lot younger then like in my early 30's and I am 44 now.........

Billy
you crack me up! 44 is YOUNG!
So how come your board name is Lost n 51 Billy? I was waiting for you to change it to Lost n 52 when your next birthday came around, LOL.

Happy Birthday to the two birthday girls too!

Because my family and I live our lives based on the values and morals we had in the 50's. My first car was a 1951 Ford that I still own, my house I own now was built in 1951, my wife is a 1953 model, and I love all of the music from that era including Doo Wop.

So it just makes sense that I am Lostn51.......
