I can 'see' my cutting table and cut some MB work today and FFC. It felt good to be working in the quilting room on projects.
And today we bought in two more little guys...brings the total up to eight from this hatch and 3 before and the hen guinea is still sitting on eggs. Reason why we bring them in is 'cause the other hens would cause them harm and if chicks are left under the 'mother' sitting...she may abandon the nest of eggs and take the live babies with her, causing the other eggs not to hatch at all. Favorite food right now is cottage cheese and cooked yolk. They are quick moving little guys and will let us know that they are hungry, cold or too hot. Already running after flies that enter their space.

Honchey--I will be looking for the email with other names/months for the MBs. Too bad about the oops with your July MB...at least you were able to get it done yet today.
QNS--great job making some progress on the cutting table. I know when I was cleaning the clubhouse, I got to the point where I just *had to* sew! I still have one tub of flannels to sort, but figure that will wait.
I hope to get some time in the clubhouse this week since my shoulder continues to do better. Grandma was very excited to receive some new table runners.

We are home & I'm tired. We had a great trip!!!! Brady had it's Jubilee. They had a parade & a street dance yesterday. We didn't go ta those though. Then the fireworks were last night. They set 'em off across the lake from us. We were able ta set on the deck & watch 'em. Wow what a wonderful display! It a wonderful finish ta a very fun weekend.

Anne, thanks for sending out the MB partner names. And thank you for calling some of us "over achievers" and not anal retentives LOL.
Sounds like everyone had a good holiday and were very busy. Glad summer is there for you Anael--it's done nothing but rain here for the last 3 wks, hot, humid, & miserable. Can't work in the yard, it's like a mushy swamp. Can't spray baste a quilt because I can't open any windows. What have I done? Made a bunch of blocks that go in The Box That Will Never Be Opened (except for Ggal). Just patterns I wanted to try, some successful some not so much. And I got caught up on all the posts here.
Working a lot this month; but that equals a lot of FARTs in August. Enjoy your day everyone.

And the count goes on; now have 9 little guineas in the box on the dinning table. Another one last night that was very shaky and one this morning. They had cleaned up on their cottage cheese and Shredded Wheat, so had to fix them some more. Nothing cold for them as that would cause their death. Another three eggs to go...so will check on Mama hen later for more little guineas.
Anael, you can still sew on rainy days or go on FART trips. May be even sew with a friend or two.
JanRN, does not sound like the weather is stopping you from doing what you what to do. And I love your plans and reasons for working extra this month.
Thanks, Honchey, for the lists for the MBs. And the update.
Dublb, you sound like you had an excellent get-away and everyone enjoyed themselves. A little Rest and Relax time. And now you can work on your quilting a bit.
I am ready to work a bit on mine between taking care of dh and the little guineas. and housework. Celebrate the day, its gone tomorrow.
