Tomorrow I am going to visit DF of mine in Temple TX. We are gonna quilt to our li'le hearts content.
I will stop on the way in Brady to drop off some boxes that I have ready to go. I packed these light so as to be able to lift 'em myself. It is nice that Brady is on the way to Temple.

Yep I'm like that cat's meow...love to sing...just can't do a good job of it.....

Brought the little machine up to dining room table..plan to use it when I have a few minutes or to watch TV and sew. The Time to Commit is back on the table...hehe...

Me, too, Ok. Time to finish some UFOs...too many of them. Finished DH pouch to fit on his belt to carry his tablet, billfold, cell phone, etc., to his satisfaction. Used my newer Bernina because I can see the programmed stitches better there....and its threaded with black. Do you like working in your local QS? I would find too many temptations, I am sure.

Honchey, I hope you are feeling better. My bf in southern Missouri is feeling better; is all moved into a one bedroom apartment.

Quilter 65 and I are finidhed going to Des Moines this year, so she can finish her UFOs and Christmas projects. It may be June before we plan another trip anywhere...family always comes first and she is very busy with DGchildren. Hoping after Christmas we will have a day together to open Pandora's Box and do three model blocks for each proposed quilt there. Making one block out of each of three stored there to 'make up' into a quilt.

No plans for Thanksgiving or Christmas or New Year's this year. No one plans to come here,,so it will be just another day. Just trying to finish UFOs.

Size: 51.1 KBhalf done on Crystal for next week. It is not square, very slow going alone, and not likely to be near perfect! It is what it is. Looking forward to seeing perfect from you all. This week's blocks are wonderful!

I'm just getting caught up here. Hope everyone is well and Anne is on the mend.

If I ever mention that I want to remodel my house again, please shoot me!!!!!! This bathroom remodel is dragging on and on. They started it on Oct 8 and still are only 1/2 way done. To them it's a small job that they're doing in between a very large total house re-do elsewhere. Well, to me it's a large job! Sorry I'm so cranky but I had to pee at 4:30 am so had to troop downstairs and back up and then couldn't fall back to sleep. Do you know what strange tv shows are on at 4:30 am??? You don't want to know LOL. Going out to dinner tonight with friends who are also in the middle of a kitchen remodel so we'll be able to sympathize with each other. Sorry to rant, just needed to get that out so I don't clobber the contractor. (I also haven't been able to sew since Oct 8 so maybe this is just withdrawal and treatment with a few glasses of wine tonight will help!)

'tis done. Moving on to #34. One stitch at a time.

Re modelling is one step at a time. Be glad if he finishes the job. So many take their money and run, leaving you in chaos, the job not done...according to Mike Holmes on DIY. Scares me to even begin such a job. JanRN, enjoy your evening and wine..and have to get up in the early morning hours again. Input means output. LOL!

Skin doctor did note I should take all preventive measures possible, because it was not a matter of 'if' but when I got serious cancer problems. Duh. That's why I took out a good Cancer Policy of Insurance when I was working. Dad died at 43 years old; Mom at 63 years of age. And foster Grandmother at 83 years of age. Cancer. We never exit life except by death, from the cradle to the grave is a matter of time. Meanwhile, enjoy life, forget the small stressful things, and enjoy each hour and each day with family and friends. Thanks for listening to problems in life...life goes on.

Well QNS, I am with you on the Cancer agenda. I have had 2 basal cell carcinomas and 2 Stage 1 Melanomas. Good thing that my Dermatologist does my body scan's every three months now. She is not taking any chances. I am having to have another surgery on the back of my arm in a week. She took the recommended centimeters around it when she took out the one on my arm after the biopsy, but it came back that she needs to take more off one side. That means she has to cut out the old scar entirely and re do it. Geez!!! I'm just glad she has such an "eagle" eye and spots these things before they get much worse.

Oksewglad, I can imagine the day flies by! Looking forward to seeing your progress with Time to Commit. :-)
Anne, finally! Keep on the mend now...
QNS, that flowered fabric is just lovely. That's going to be a super looking block when it's sewn. I love it to pieces (trying to make a pun). :-p
I don't want to talk about cancer... I hope everyone stays well... I've worked at ACS for 9 years...

Getting a late start; cannot believe I spelt for 12 hours! Time for a shower and breakfast. Have a good day everyone!

I won't name names, OK, about who is the bad influence LOL!!!! I'm still not able to sew--this is the never-ending bathroom remodel. I have 2 more table runners to hand sew binding on and then I'm done with all my UFOs. Can I gloat? I can't wait to hear my machine again.

Hope everyone is well. It's definitely fall here--cool, sunny, and awesome colorful trees.

Hey I can send you some WIP's...No UFO'S...that's just not right, Jan. You may have to go on a FART with friends and start a hand piecing or embroidery project....

Nice to know your weather's been grand...ours has, too. DS#2 is up your way for training, so he's enjoying your weather, too...

Same here. Lovely weather, and gorgeous trees in all colors. My favorite season. Just the binding left to do on the baby quilt-- it's only a couple of weeks later than I'd hoped for.

Got 6 FWS blocks cut tonight...finished with the "hover" blocks...so start with 53 next time. Thanks again Honchey for cutting info..once they are all cut then will start sewing...picking fabric takes sooo long especially with blocks with 3 or 4 fabrics. This is going to be such a mish mash of colors...

OK you have a great eye for color, haven't seen you produce a dud yet! FWS was the first scrappy quilt I did and at times I thought that was harder than coordinating colors. I'm not the type that can put scraps in a bag and pull them out and use them: I'm much too anal!

I'm having trouble typing here, letters are "sticking" or something. Have a great day, ladies--do something you love.

Hi Everyone, The top part of me is on the mend and as a result of a side effect of one of the meds I took I may have a torn Achilles tendon..I go for a MRI tomorrow..I walk with pain in my right calf every step..I also walk with a walking stick to help alleviate it.. I have to keep a heating pad under my calf and keep it elevated... another page in my life's journey ...
OK, I'll send the rest of the PDF's for the cutting today.
Jan, Love your Mini Quilt...Have you seen the new "Epic" ? OMG it is beautiful!!
Nina, How's you UFO's? are they al done now?
    Have a good day all..

Honchey, you surprised me and skipped a week in the FW 1930s schedule...I was ready with Crystal and Daffodil. Not ready for next week. I have a good excuse, too. Dinah is ready, but I 'read' Dolly as Dotty...and she is in the works to complete...one row of three done...two more to go.,,for next week.

UFOs are like they continue too be; silent in their in the QR, not a stitch more done on them. Trying to work ahead several weeks on FW 1930 so I can get back to one or more of them. St. Peter, I cannot come, I have quilts to do and miles to go. LOL! Lost count of how many 'cause another one comes along and adds itself onto the 'to do' list.

Cloudy and rainy and cold here today. Good day to be in the quilt room, cozy and warm there. Dotty, here I come again to do another row.
