Carrie, such beautiful embroidery! Like QuiltE said, maybe they will change their minds?
Mirabelle, thanks for all the pictures. I'm sorry you lost your Table Mat. Maybe it will find its way back to you!
It was twin time today and I didn't forget the memory card

Looks like he's being a typical big brother ... and punching her!!!
Anael ... Oh I know he's not, but, at first glance! Sweet pics of the two and look at them looking so intently at their Dad! Sweeeeeeeeeeeet!!! (translate please ... lief! ... I've seen it on him before, and am left wondering!)
OKSGlad ... and another family quilter is under your tutelage! What are the two of you making?

Anael. schattige tweeling!!!
Mirabelle here's hoping your table mat turns up. Thanks for posting all those pictures of the quilts. It must have been a blast to be there. Lots of talent for sure.
Bev, Congrats on the new house . I hope you can get moved without any injuries.
QuiltE, Have you been to get the mail yet???????
OK I think it is so cool that you have a little GD to sew with you.
Carriem, your fabric choices for the embroidery quilt are excellent. They go perfectly with the colours in the hand work. Good choices. I love those fabrics.
I'm off to sew some more qayg on my orphans and then I have a date with my book.
Happy Saturday all, Sunday for Mirabelle!

Here I am .... back from the post office with an addition to my MB family.
Thank you DublB ... for finding time amidst your packing to move!
Wonder where you got the fabric?
(Had hoped for these pictures to be outside, for truer colours, but didn't want to wait til it was not raining ... yet again!)

QE--Elise is just at the starting stage. Must be the 4-H er in me, but we learn about the parts of the machine and then start sewing on paper w/o thread--straight lines on notebook paper and then work up to curves and square corners. Next we just straight stitched with thread on 2 pieces of fabric so she could back stitch.--Can I make this into a quilt she asks? Emily is going to be working on Gpa's quilt later on. At this rate I'm going to have to get another machine! BIL took the Singer 99 (or 66) back with him to ND to continue reconditioning work on it.
Biggest problem is Ilean came for a visit today. How do I politely ask her to leave? Maybe I will have to just yell-- I think I forgot to take drugs (Aleve) last night and this is the price. Can't sit for long so will move on.
We posted at the same time QE--What a great friendship block? The blue looks familiar--it's in my block, too.

Anael ... so funny ... I was right on the lief, and wasn't even trying !!
JanieW ... looks like you have some Dutch roots along with Anael!!
OKSGlad ... Maybe you are just too polite to Ilean? Just tell her to take a hike!!! Good training for Elise. I can't remember how I started sewing, but some of the early was sewing squares together. Two, then 2x2, then 2 sets of 4 and so on. We HAD TO press the seams open and heaven forbid if they did not match ... so I learned all about reverse stitching. Not too encouraging as a little one. And then eventually the joined pieces were big enough for a dolly blanket. Aprons were another of Mom's way of teaching us to sew with miles of store bought bias binding on the edges. Your DGDs are SO lucky to have you to help them learn. And yes ... looks like you will need a 3rd machine so you and the 2DGDs can all sew at the same time! Look forward to seeing some pics of the girls working away!
