a mother's love?
unfortunately, people are judgemental. you have to question the sensibility of the of the person who looks like this and wants a job in your company. if this is a reflection of his taste, what else does he think is normal? would you hire a young man with a soda can through his ear? really, now!

And, unfortunately, many young people grow up with moms who do NOT love them. That's one reason why child abuse is so rampant and the CPAs are so overcrowded.

i'm sure their moms love them. seeing their kids do this must break their hearts. do they love their moms or even think about what this must do to her?

So you think the soda can thru his ear would keep him from running a backhoe? Or maybe a roughneck on a drilling rig? Or how about a machinist? A lathe operator? Meat cutter? Welder? Truck driver? Tire specialist? Plumber? I could go on and on. There are millions and millions of jobs where looks are totally unimportant. And they make good money in those jobs too.
It must suck to be so insulated in your tiny little white world you never even look outside of it and see the millions and millions of people around you that are different. Not wrong, just different.

You do know this is called prejudice. You are pre judging these people without ever meeting a single one of them. There are millions and millions of jobs where looks are totally unimportant.

of their bodies. let's not forget magnets.
i think you're bending over backward trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. there are lots of jobs they can do, but how many people would realistically hire them considering injury to themselves and others, equipment failure, non-insurance (unless it's an under-the-table job, which means no security).
my brother-in-law is a plumber and wouldn't let any of these people in anyone's house for fear of losing customers. most of his workers are nor caucasian. my father was a printer and wouldn't take a chance of damaging expensive presses by things poking into them. both men had/have all kinds of people working for them and they are presentable and not likely to offend anyone. my brother puts in swimming pools and hires people anyone looking for work. if he hired any of these guys, his customers would be afraid of getting robbed.
btw, his 'white little world' isn't. and the guys with metal are mainly white, i noticed. so let's not even go there.

You are right I don't know them just as you don't know me. The cover of a book is sometimes what sells the book. I am entitled to my opnion like everyone else, wasn't this the reason the photos where posted on the Board for our reactions? Anyway this forum has been fun but I think I have had my LAST post.

I hope this goes out of fashion really soon! Looks painful and I would worry about metal detectors going off could a magnet that lifts cars pick one of these folks up? I have not pierced my ears yet and it is hard to find earrings that clip on.
