I made it through the whole 6 min walk today! That was a first, so I am very very pleased.
I walked 1/4 a mile today with PRehab. I was very out of breath but I did it and I'm a very happy camper.

It is cold and sunshiney today, weather I like to quilt in. I like the sun streaming in the windows so I can clearly see the colors and the cold encourages me to stay inside!

I am down another pound today! That makes 8 for the month so far, and it ain't over!

Keep on working at the weight loss, you will get healthier and have success.

Good for you, MJ. 6 minutes walking is a long time if you're not used to it. Another pound? Another good for you. I weighed myself since I first posted. I'm down 2 pounds, so the protein for breakfast is a winner for now.

My warm and sunshiny is probably colder than your cold and sunshiny - another it's all in what you are used to. Personally, I'd like it to stay below freezing. Above during the day and dropping at 5:00 just means another layer of ice. I hear we have much snow on the way. It'd be okay if it would shovel itself or not fall on my driveway.

Congrats on your 8 lbs loss and your successful day at rehab! Awesome victories on both accounts.

Howdy yall! It looks like now is a great time for me to update yall!

First off, I am doing great. I will be leaving here on the 10th to spend a couple weeks with Cathie. I cannot wait to be in her arms again.

I have met one of my mini-goals. I set a goal to lose 10 pounds a month. I started that a few months ago. I met my goal this last month. I am now weighing 346.6. Considering I started weighing 550+ pounds I think I am doing pretty good. I am now doing about 10 minutes of Leslie Sansone's walking dvd. It is not much but I am working on it.

I am going to be spending more time in here than I have been so that I can keep up with all you good people!

Anyway...please take care!

Missy

Looks like most are doing real well. Some need to hang in there it will turn around for you. Missy enjoy your visit. Purplemem 6 min. is good. After I had a heart valve replacement every step was hard.It will get better. Good luck everyone.

MJ and Missy congrats on your weight loss. I have lost a few. I go to WW in the morning and will see how it is going. I made french fries for dinner and only ate a few. My husband and son were whining that we havent had any in months. I think I am down 2 or 3 pounds for the last 2 weeks. It rained here again yesterday and last night. I am sooooo sick of cloudy days and rain. Last year was the wettest year ever recorded here. It seems like we are working on another year like last year. It seems like it rains for 2 days is cloudy a day then clears a day then starts over. Some snow would be nice. Or maybe some sunshine. I am off to quilt.

The exercise class I went to last night really kicked my butt. I swear the leader was trying to kill us. I guess it didn't help that it was my first time. I modified all the moves (a lot!) but my lower back was so sore this morning I could hardly move. I went to the walking/running group this morning but I was way behind the group since my back was hurting so much. Tonight I am doing much better. They are having a sat morning class in Feb. The leader sounds very professional so I looked up her website. She has a lot of good info on losing weight if you want to check it out. http://www.brookbenten.com/101-legit...o-lose-weight/
There's so much good news on here. Congrats to everyone seeing positive results.
