The realy cool thing about this pattern is it is all just a suggestion so you can place and cut all the angles however you want so every pot is a little different. Fun!

I'm a little bogged down pinning the tops to the bottoms of the baskets. Some lunch, stitch those, then add the sides of the baskets and I'll have the blocks ready to trim. I love to see your works in progress. It makes me giddy to have like minded people sharing.

Annthreecats, Wow, you finished that in no time. Love the way you did the binding.

I planned to quilt today on my bowtie quilt for my sil. But, I just got a phone call and my daughter, grandson(3) and brand new baby girl are coming over the river and through the woods to see us. Maybe at nap time........

Thanks ube quilting. I love doing bindings on the machine. I wouldn't quilt at all if I had to do it by hand. Ugh.

Have fun everyone. I'm off to have lunch and start working on the afghan I'm crocheting for DD.

good morning! i'm tickled i got here before noon!
i have a crazy doll quilt to finish for that swap, and i want to make some alice in wonderland blocks for that swap, oh, and i have to move a desk into my new quilt area so i can set up the machine to sew. just got a new table for cutting! woohoo! but it's too high to sit and sew. the legs shorten so i can use it for either.
and i promised to make coffee-- it's in the large pot in my sewing room-- feel free to help yourself whenever you'd like some!. now, for one of those donuts!

I've got four goals for today/this weekend:
    1. finish a mini-quilt top (layer, quilt, bind)
    2. one block for a Canadian Quilt of Valour quilt (the first block!)
    3. one block for an online Mystery (Carol Doak's yahoo group)
    4. one block for the local guild
I also *need* to mow the back yard which is now a foot high ...

Wow everyone has so much done already. I finished marking the quilting lines on my baby quilt. Decided I wasn't in the mood to FMQ right now so I cut postage stamps for 1 1/2 hours. My eyes felt like they were going to pop out so I came downstairs to move the laundry from the washer to the dryer. I took a break for lunch. I cut up a pineapple MMMMMM. I am going to go do one of my paper pieced stars now. I don't think I will get caught up on that project today, I am 4 behind on that project. My DH and DS are both gone fishing and working( they are combining the 2)so it is just me and the cat today. NIce and peaceful and quiet here today. It is kind of nice for a change. It has been a rough week at work. Happy sewing everyone.
