I have a recipe to make a bath mat by sandwiching a good heavy terry towel and the quilt top. Then tie it down or SID. That is one, rather two (one for using, one for in the wash) (maybe one for good) of my projects for the summer.
Sounds like something quick and easy and fun to do - neat for gifts also! Edie

I just finished making a quilt that is now our shower curtain. It is fun. I had it quilted with muslin as the 'batting'.

My quilt shop had a changing mini display in their bathroom. One time they had a quilt which had glow in the dark thread. You can just imagine the look on the FedEx guys face when about 9 of us walked out of the bathroom laughing about the fun quilt! He didn' say a word - just got a signature and dropped off his packages, then quickly left. The look on his face was priceless!

What a fun idea. I bet some cute little out houses would be fairly easy to do on a quilt. Well easy for most of you, I'm still a novice.

I made a small quilt. About the size of cwessel47's. I made it to cover up my husbands in-the-wall gun safe. Boy was that thing ever ugly. Now when you go into the Master Bath, all you see is a very pretty quilt on the wall. Problem solved. We are so creative when we need to be. Pat on back, heh,heh,heh.
