Well, finished the runner and put the binding on. Now, if there's a good TV night this weekend sometime, I'll get that sewed down and be ready to mail. Who-hoo!!! I'll have finished this!! Now on to the next project (and there are plenty)

Oh no Nancia! Take care of that back! I take valerian for muscle spasms and restless legs. I'm betting it would help your back too if it's not a conflict with any prescriptions you're taking. I get it at Walmart, $3-4 a bottle for I think 150 capsules. They stick to high heavens, and Mario calls them my stinky pills, but they really do help me. I load up on them when we fly too. It's the only way I can make a 9 hour flight to Europe!
I'll be thinking about you as I finish your runner today! Well, that's the plan anyway!

Gosh, sure is quiet in here today.
I got Nancia's runner finished today. Well, I say it's finished. I ordered what I hope is the right FMQ foot for my sewing machine today, so when it comes Tuesday or Wednesday, if I get the uncontrollable urge to try it out, I might have to do some more work on it. I've changed it from my original plan multiple times along the way (Ana, I chickened out!), but kept the original block and fabrics & added a couple more.
Do we know what the theme will be for the next one yet? I found a design I'm dying to try!

Patriotic should be the next one.
I finally finished this darned quilt for my niece. It's amazing how long a binding takes when you are too busy to breathe.
Here's my new little beastie. Isn't she cute. (oh, look at that, I just decided it's a girl, it still needs a name)

Congratulations! She's adorable. Those really are good little cars. I have a Corolla that same color that I only owe 14 more payments on. They're doing a special sale at work through tomorrow where employees and their immediate family can get an extra $1000 rebate. If I still worked at Toyota like I did when I bought my Corolla, it might be enticing, but where I work, I can't afford what I want, so it's not going to happen. It's not that I hate my car, it's just not what I wanted, but what I could live with & get a cheaper payment.
Let's see. What should her name be? Athena.....the Greek goddess of wisdom, crafts, and war. Brigit...the Celtic goddess of fire, fertility, the hearth, feminine arts and crafts, and the martial arts, associated with the eternal flame which could have been the inspiration for term "spark of creativity".

Nice looking car Ana, looks like she'll last you a long time. I keep thinking I should trade in my Durango and buy a car instead but it's so convenient when I go some where if I decide to buy something "big" it fits right in the back. Fold down those seats and it's like a pickup almost.

So true, I do use that 4 wheel drive every now and then. Can't warrant the expense of a car too when we have 3 other 4 wheel drive pickups around here. Bill uses 1 for work, I have a Dodge 3/4 ton and then we bought a Dodge 1 ton to pull the toy hauler around. They just kind of sit and wait to be used. So a car...don't think it's going to happen but I can wish for that Z28 or something. Only in my dreams Vanogay
