Terri, I love your leaf quilt. Gorgeous fall colors. Well done!

Janice, yummy fabric! What do you envision with it?

Terri it is beautiful I love fall leaves your sashing is perfect for them.

It was Traveling Grandma that did the neutral quilt. I remember because it was one I had a very difficult time staying with her request. I kept trying to put more color in it. You're right it really did come out beautiful.

I know right if that is rusty I can't imaging the circles she can run around me when she's in prime condition.....

Not quite pastel, huh? It's also a larger print than I normally select but so be it. It makes me happy just looking at it. This is a fabric I used in a block swap last year. (Jaba, I think you might have a block made with this.) I loved it then but I didn't have much. Lo and behold, tucked in a corner, there it was. So I think I'll sash it in greens or possibly greens and the background cream to tone it down a bit. Don't know yet. But, decision finally made on the main fabric. Woo hoo! Time to prep it.
Oh my that is so pretty!!!! Yep I want to play with that one for sure.

So do you have a pattern for the boots or did you make them yourself from boot pictures? I really like this and will be putting it on my bucket list. I know a few cowgirls that would love it.

Love the way this turned out. I have seen the falling leaves patterns and have wanted to do one but maybe I'll try something like this instead.

ok I got a question. Is there a trick I don't know about or forgot that takes you back to where you left off after posting a reply? It seems every time I reply to a post, I'm left on the reply page and have to click on the thread link at the top to get back to the messages so then I have to start all over and hopefully remember where I left off. So sometimes I miss stuff.

Great reply Ibex.

Thanks everyone, sure was fun to put together something rather then just make blocks

i love the sashing fabric also. I'm really trying not to buy more fabric but if I could find the deep purple that is in the sashing then I would add a border
