Yes, I have observed my scrap mini tubs overflowing and needing to buy more! Still figuring out how to organize all my sisters UFOs I inherited and my own starts and wanna dos. I hope to start and finish one for a friend before too long.

Duckling, I love the quilt that is your avatar! Teeny tiny disappearing blocks! You will be able to start getting those quilts finished. It sounds like you have lots of love in that quilting stash of yours!

Glad you are not in the ice, Terri. We got to Memphis last night and there is ice on all the trees... still got ice and snow in the back yard. But the grandkids are sweet.... They are coming over in a little while.
Marcialee, congrats on the new baby! I hope I live long enough to see great grandbabies. What a blessing!
Everybody, try to stay warm!

You may know my sister who passed, Givio, she is the one that inspired me to get back into quilting. We had so many ideas for classes, sharing, and teaching her grandchildren when she retired. Now I am trying to finish her UFOs. Many of them have very specific memories and others are enriching my understanding who she was. I am finishing one of her boom quilts and a baby quilt of mine that just needed a border and quilting. I was really into disappearing blocks for awhile. Now all you quilters have inspired to delve into pattern with more piazzaz!

Duckling -- I am so glad you're in here with us! I was lucky enough to trade with your sister and see some of the amazing quilts she made that Sewbizgirl got quilted up. You have a wonderful guardian angel!
