I just make them up. It's just a traditional 9 patch.

I received my package and I have 19 packages. Can't wait to start...maybe today. We lost our power yesterday and probably will again today. The wind is very strong today....
Everyones blocks are looking great so far.

Wow wow wow, all the blocks made so far are wonderful. Way to go everyone

We are at he lake for our last weekend but it’s so cold and damp we are going home and will come back later in the week to close up. That means I can start ripping apart my blocks I made for my paper piecing swap. Realized I made a dumb mistake. They will be my priority for now but will still sneak in a boom block here and there just to lift my spirits

Sewbiz in the link to the pictures are there separate albums per person?

Good morning. More beautiful blocks appeared overnight. Hav, you are the queen of pp’ing!

I completely forgot to tell you I heard from Libster on Thursday and she’s keeping an eye on the swap. She says to keep the pix coming! Her treatment will be entering a new phase soon but she’s ready to get back to normal. I’m hoping she’ll be able to join us again in future swaps.

[QUOTE=Janice McC;8568072]Good morning! Here’s my first block for Cheesehead. It’s called “Double X” from the Around the Block book. It was difficult to cut up such pretty fabric. The dark fabric is a green that matches some of the leaves. I hope this will work for you.

.Janice, that is a great block, the green makes the fabric pop.

Here is my block for Ibex94. I knew I had some bug fabric that I could use. There doesn't seem to be a lot of contrast but I hope you can still use it.
Klaws, I love the bug fabric, great block

show n tell of all the talent in this group amazes me. I love seeing how everyone sees something different in each fabric.

Janice, tell Libster, we are all thinking about and hope to see her back soon. Prayers to you Libster.

Hav4boys those are precious! How can you get them knocked out so fast? I agonize over everything but I'm not nearly as prolific as you are. Practice makes progress! I need to start practicing more, I know. Keep the inspiration coming!

Here’s my second block for cheesehead. The green matches the lightest in the leaves and the black looks well with the floral. Hope you like it.

The next few days are busy so I’m probably not going to get time to make any new blocks.

A question for Marcialee…are you looking for a solid black to go with your f8?
