Question- Do you think it would be ok to send my giftee some of the wonderful quilting and sewing tools I have bought and will never use? These were not cheap, just have no intent to use them. When I bought them, I was still learning and got them at a great price, so I have them, but I have discovered that some quilts and other projects just don't excite me as others do. What do you think?

That sounds like a good idea... nothing wrong with "gently used".

Katie is beautiful, you are a lucky Grandma to get such a wonderful early Christmas gift!

Welcome Kate! You guys are all so sweet! I hope I do my SS proud. The apron is very nice. I have made them before for gifts and keep saying I am going to make one for me but havent. Apple Butter! Yummy. Guess what, I have owned pigs, chickens, cows and peacocks! The peacocks are expensive and dont stay around. My children showed pigs in the livestock shows at the fair. I have washed them, chased them, etc. for years. Football took over though. So no more livestock now. This year, this week in fact, I get to enter some quilts in the local fair! I am so excited to finally get to enter something besides a pig or a cow! So we are to ship the package by Nov 14th I think. What is the reveal date??? I dont remember that one.

Have ya ever HEARD a peacock screech.....trust me....it ain't good !!!!
