I'm ready for tomorrow! I've finished up the two floppies I was working on that I wanted to get out of the way.

The Rainbow Ribbon (from crafsty)

And this using the Ornament block on the Quick Curve ruler site - all the curves were made with the quick curve and mini curve rulers.

I'm another who didn't get the paint chips, and for the same reasons. A) I don't intend on buying paint from the chips and B) I can get a good enough idea from the pictures - especially since I am doing scrappy so there will be a range within the palette.

No no problem with others grabbing them if they feel they need them though.

I just dont like waste.

Everyone ready for tomorrow?

Hope you all all had a great Thanksgiving.

Ok, tossed the pinkies, added darkers, rearranged many to neutrals. If we are going with the darker side of the aquas, I am closer if i toss the lighter aquas. But, now i got them in the same photo ... Gosh ,this is hard. feel free to critique:

I picked up the paint chips at Lowes and didn't feel remotely dishonest in doing so. I spend a lot of money at Lowes. We also just moved into a new house and will need to have every room painted so I will be buying plenty of paint in coming months, probably without taking many or any of the paint chips. I doubt Lowes cares about the chips - they're supplied by the paint company.

Every person who goes into Lowes after those paint chips could potentially buy something... or many things. I went in after paint chips for my Boom swap fabric and came away with some gifts for hubby.

Cathy, your quilts look beautiful. I *love* that ribbon quilt!

Cathy, I love your ribbon quilt! I looked Craftsy for the kit but all they seem to be supplying at this time is it with a white background. I like the black the best. Lovely quilts!

Sewbiz, gee if I asked my DH to pick up paint chips for me, or if I even went in myself to Lowes, we would probably come out with over half the tools! Husbands like to joke about how long we quilters spend in fabric stores but I think they spend longer in Lowes and Home Depot.

I don't use paint chips myself because once I see Bonnie's colors in her blog, I instantly have an idea of the value, contrast and such and can work from just the printed out pages.

Alright, I am stuffed from eating a wonderful holiday meal, the house is cleaned up, the family is gone, the dinning room table is folded and againt the wall, and my cutting table is back out & set up. I love having such a versatile room and furniture. All that is left to do is to tape the cutting mats back down and set up the Featherweight and I am ready for mystery time
