Jan--sounds like you had a fun day!

QE--your Cowbells and Carousels block turned out great! I am not too surprised that you won. So do you get the blocks/quilt next year? Or is it raffled off?

Karen--nice picture of your DD. Great job staying on top of the MBs. Are you making the Quilt on the Square BOMs as they come out?

Anael--sorry to hear about your brother. Praying for you. How was your time with the twins?

QNS--you have a wonderful Sunday too.

    Thank you all!

Carrie, my time with the twins was great. I cuddled, kissed them (from all of you Sew Grannies too ) and was glad my DDIL was changing diapers

    HI ... back, DDamsel!!

CarrieM ... now wouldn';t that be a great thing, the prize for the winning block, to be the completed quilt! Yes, the blocks will be made into a quilt ... and then a raffle as a fundraiser for the Fair.

Anael ... smart lady! Let DDIL do the changing! You have earned the rights to just the FUN stuff with the SewGrands! Any new pics for us to enjoy?

And now .... I with a pot of Stormy Nights tea at my side, I am now about to sit and read .... and see how much of the 137 posts I can get read before I have to leave!

OKSGlad ... better keep the chiro visits frequent and be sure you are tuned up well before your big trip! Great design with so much thought for the 50th gift. They will really appreciate it. Large enough to be practical for use ... and even could be a wall hanging, for the "right" spot! BTW the fabric you described, is it the one I am thinking about ... I used it in one of the quilts for the Story of Butter last year, and showed it at the Fair this weekend.

DublB ... glad you got home safely. Now for some pics please of OKSGlad's and GrannyQ's blocks! And yes, maybe they are posted after I stopped reading! .... and if not ... here's a nudge to do so!

Anael ... so glad to know that Isa's eyes had the treatment. Do they know now that it is a success? Or is it something to learn with time?

JanRN ... patience! And you know what they say to do for FMQ success, drink some wine first! Great gift for the fundraiser. Should be a popular item at the event.

MiraB ... oh I love that afghan. Like all your work, the colours are perfect! I used to crochet a lot, seldom do now. Even made a full sized tablecloth when I was married, for our dining room table!

MercysLand ... Thank you for your kind words! the PC as you will have seen by now has been quilted and shown. I'll be taking a full pic of it hopefully this week, if the weather cooperates! The FWS tan is actually a rich gold, with some metallic bits in it. Might be a fusions? not sure!

QNSue ... looks like some good finds in your FART trip! How may shops are in this Iowa State Hop? Hope youare getting CarrieM's? All of you MidWest Ladies should have a meet up at one of the Hop's Shops!

JanieW ... great pics of your flowers, but the BEST are the twins with Audrey! I have a sea of blue forget-me-nots across the edge of my bush right now. Last week, I planted some that I got from a friend, that when established will be weed-like and give lots of yellow all summer.

GGal ... crockpots magnify the potency of spices, so rule of thumb, use less. Hopefully it wasn't too overpowering. However, some like it that way! Looking forward to seeing pics of all these finishes of yours. Good Luck with your consignment selling.

And now ... I'd better get my act together ... and get outta here and get ready to be "on the road again"!

Mirabelle - I'm with you on going with Jan on a FART to the outlet store! That sounds like so much fun!!! I'd probably fill up a bin in the RV with fabric! LOL

I took my camera out to capture the yard in bloom this morning from road side, to house side, to the orchard. Selected a few to 'show' today. Tulip Tree, older than I am, at the front gate is in bloom: close up shows details, but it looks more like this from the ten foot ladder I was on:After climbing to the top, I walked Over to the 'hen house' and 'A-frame': That is the A-frame that dh built. And the commercial one I bought:And the youngest chicks: And to let you know the front of our house:from the 'chicken yard'...almost all 85 foot that includes the garage. Square footage is around 1700 sq.ft. living space. Roses next to house.

Mirab & Jeanie, I'd love to have you come along. I can't tell you how overwhelming that warehouse was!! Jeanie bring the RV-you could fill it. Hmm--how will we get Mirab & all her purchases home??? Cargo plane??

QNS, I love all your flowers and can almost smell them. A virtual bouquet!

QE, stay safe and have fun in all your travels.

    Hey back at ya DD!

QuiltE, way to go with another winning block! Be happy on the road, be safe and tell us all about it.

JanRN, wish I were there with you, but happy you had a good time on your FART

    Hi back at you DD!

No more FART for a month; bf wants her space to come to terms with family problems and I agree that I am there for her; just a phone call away and she makes the call. Is there something in the waters that is causing everyone problems??? I will remember her in my prayers.
