I will also have to relocate the serial number and age of my treadle. It needs a new belt so I have not sewn with it yet. I have been making a lace cloth for it on my more modern embroidery machine. I enjoy this machine sitting in my living room.
Drool, Drool, Drool !!!!

Tommie, I agree. I'm thinking I'm gonna need my 'slobber bib' before anybody ever puts me in a 'home' if I keep looking at all these gorgeous machines. lol

We are having a quilt show here in town in 2 weeks, one of our vendors is called Feathers and Cranks, she sells very pricey fully restored featherweights and hand cranks. I don't have her info here, but I will check w/her to see if she has any spares, if so I'll post her info for your.

Nona Sharff, she is in Colestrip, MT, I actually saw her Friday in our LQS. The last I knew she didn't have a web site. I can call the LQS on Tuesday and see if they have her number.

What part of Montana are y'all from? I began life there and love it? Last year I was at the Deer Country Quilt Shop in Seeley Lake, MT. I could actually live there!

Hey all... back in town. Like 30 pages to read! phew!

APB.... there is a FREE VS in a case (case is shot. Machine is dirty, forgotton... but nice decals), over at shopgoodwill.com. No one is bidding on it. It's the older full sized, 127 looking type, spoke wheel, able to treadle. Here's the link... just in case someone is interested. (This isn't enabling anyone is it???? <grin!>). http://www.shopgoodwill.com/viewItem.asp?ItemID=8136519

PS there is also a electric, spoke wheel Lotus 66 there as well. Cords cut, some rust, some wear on the decals, but oh my.

AND a Singer 403, with pristine carry case, Singer plastic accessories case (with accessores), feet, cams, manual, and extras. Looks Clean!!! They've got one $5 bid on it.

I love that quilt shop in Seeley Lake, MT. In 2005 my friend and I set off from SE KS for Bozeman, MT for the Quilting in the Country outdoor quilt show. We had a blast just the two of us old broads. We were gone 11 days and we camped along the way and had a wonderful time. Our husbands were quite shocked when we actually pulled out of the driveway and waved. They didn't think we'd do it.
I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

I need help with a 1” pin that fell out when I turned the machine right side up after scrubbing the underside. I did not take it out, it just fell out!!
I don’t know where it goes. I think it is a 66 from 1926- #ab101576. The more I clean the more there is to clean. How do you get rid of the kerosene smell? Thanks so much.
