Makes me want to contact the seller and see if they have more than one call for the one they have.....I know where there are one or two I would let go for that kind of money.

O.K. Billy--you are right--I got the bug!!I bought a Singer at a garage sale in Illinois for 20 dollars. Its from 1940-1950 (thats what the guy at the sewing shop told me)Its black--very nice condition and works.The tag has aj691218 on it.It has a wood bentwood top.Today i even bid on another vintage one on e-bay!!Can i blame this bug on you???

I thought the oil can was especially nice.

It *looks* like an early Wheeler & Wilson to me, but without being able to see it clearly, I wouldn't be the one to ask! :lol: I know I want it!! Really, really bad. ;) :lol:

Judging from the bed of the machine (see the raised portion near the slide plates?) It's probably a badged White. I'm guessing since it has a shuttle, that it's pre-1920.

It's in really rough shape. I'm with Tommilu, $25 would probably be the most I'd pay, and I'd be hard pressed to part with that much for it, unless I planned to part it out for one I already have.

I'd really love to be able to save all the machines of the world, but there are too many really nice ones out there to pay too much for one like this.
