Suzi, all this talk about clones or not clones is getting to be so funny! You guys have really nice machines, clones or not! Clones are a good thing not a bad thing. I have two clones I love, one is a Morse 15 clone pictured on page 929 here, the other one is an American 99 clone pictured on page 898 - I will post another picture -- the machine is fine now that we fixed it!
I am down to 32 machines -I just counted, that is after giving my DIL one, my SIL one, hospice one, and a DGD one!

Clone or not - I don't care as long as that perfect little straight stitch keeps coming from the one that lives here with me. I have 6 (as I mentioned earlier): an Arlington treadle complete with coffin top, a Singer Red-eye treadle, a Singer in a bentwood case, a New Home in a table, a Singer Stylist and my favorite - the Challenge. I know I'm going to keep looking but whatever I find will have to be super special 'cause I have no more room. Remind me that I said that when I find the next one .............

OK, I have seww many because its Deara's fault! She enables me...      ...and we live clear across the states from each other. Imagine if we lived in the same city?
I guess my approximately 15 are my own fault. I can hear them calling me and cannot resist their siren song. For me, the machines call louder and more insistently than chocolate! :D They also call louder than work for that matter.
Gotta fess up, I bought a really nice 99 at an antique shop yesterday for $45...he had it marked $65 and I offered $45 and he took it, I know it's a fair price, but maybe I shoulda offered less? At least I sold my BL portable before I left so I'm netting out at 4 machines. Still on the hunt for a 301.
Unique sewing cabinet got today. It has Duncan Phyfe looking feet and is something I've not seen before. Any guesses as to it's age? Just curious.

WOW! that is a cool looking cabinet! I've certainly never seen anything like it. you hit the jackpot, IMHO.
Buslady, Thanks. I almost didn't buy it and when I had decided, 2 other ladies also liked it. First come, first served.
1930's I would guess - my Mom had one just like it. It's gorgeous - glad you got it!

Nancy, your monthly mini is so pretty and colorful, but what is it. Is it a mini quilt? Also, your machine is beautiful, happy for you.

Suzi; Thanks for the info. Seller had no idea. Said she'd had it forever. Glad I have it now.
