Great photos this morning...
thanks (not).. for sending more snow my way QNS...I have to go out in it to empty my car and go to the post office...No, not for a MB...for my "candy" swap...
I'll be packing all my stuff today & tomorrow..I want to get an early start...I find it too exhausting if I wait until the day or two before...I have to make sure I pack my scrappy scraps for --------"s MB..

Anael,
I got a lump in my throat seeing those little ones. It reminded me of our twins when they were little enough to be in the same crib. The alpha twin would always turn to his brother and he eventually developed a flat side on his head. They are 5 now and he still looks out for his brother. Your babies are just beautiful, Anael.
I have only one more PC block to make. The last one in the book to do and I'll be at 90. Then I have to decide what to do as I am going to make two smaller ones and 90 divided by two isn't a great number. Any ideas? make 6 more blocks (ugh) and do two 6 x 8 ??
Edited to add: Your block is called Ruins of Jericho, QuiltE. Glad you like it.

Janie, my PC is for a day bed, so its nine blocks 'wide' and ten blocks long with slashing and that is it, except for maybe a border. The blocks all face the side instead of the foot of the bed. The BBs and Mystery blocks will figure into another throw or whatever. I will take the PC back to Des Moines, Iowa, Creekside quilter Jeanie to do it as she did the FWQ...and then I will go back to using the ladies here in the local area...less expensive here, less capabilities in machine quilting, but that is OK too, 'cause its better than what I could do.
Will have to look up that block, Janie, in my Bible devotions pattern book. Still looking forward to seeing my mystery block that is coming eventually. Have my April one done; its on my vertical display board looking bright, cheery, and it sings to me in the quilt room...may have to make several copies of it to remain there this spring.
I promise, Honchey, no more snow your way this spring...it brought moisture to your area, so the April showers can bring May flowers...I will share photos of our flowers and hope you all will do the same. OksewGlad, forget the house and just enjoy the company; if they find some dust, give them the dust mop to clean it up. If you have UFOs on the beds, then they will know you have been busy with your priorities of quilting...age does have its advantage, I am finding out, with our company that comes by. No longer putting out big meals, or worrying about the house. They are suppose to be coming to see us, not the house.

Anael ... oh so sweet! Isa looks huge compared to Bram!! How much do they weigh now? So nice that they are putting the two of them together ... soon they'll be fighting, like good kids should!!!!!
MiraB ... and you were worried about meeting your DDs birthday? I can only imagine what else you will turn out before her birthday!
Honchey ... Scrappy Scraps..... we all know who that is for!! So organized to start your packing a week ahead. I'm sure you have a busy Easter weekend planned with all before you leave.
JanieW ... thanks for the block name! Or you could make two 6x7 and then you can leave out six that just don't fit or you don't like ... or two 7x7 and make 8 more! Possibilities are endless ... depends on what size you want your quilts. Congratulations on one away from the finish line!
DDamsel and JanieW ... we'd sure like to see all your blocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! puhleeeeeeeease!
Update ... last night started sewing the rows together.
A good night tonight and .......!!!!

Your truckin right along there! You'll be finished before we know it!
Now wasn't she so sweet ta do this for ya? Ain't it purdy?
That'll teach ya not ta go ta the Postal Box now won't it. LOL It's a lovely one too!
I love 'em tagether!
Did it show up now??
Now aren't ya a bit spoiled?? How wonderful for ya!!
I'm cryin' again. Isn't God so good!! Precious babies!
Now that's a purdy block too!
I'm mailin' my MB in just a li'le bit. I had ta take the first border off 'cause it was too small so I cut the block down & now it is perfect!
GrannyQ, that's a beautiful label! I haven't thought about a label yet but I love yours!
I have been busy, Bram and Isa need new outfits with sleeves and little pants. Meaning they might be out of the incubator very soon now. This is the first set I made.

Ok, I just couldnt STAND the fact that QuiltE had her blocks done and I didnt! so true to my nature I got jealous of her and pulled out the fabric I needed for three more blocks and got it DONE! I spent an entire day starching and pressing I now have 90 completed blocks It feels AMAZING thanks QuiltE!!!!
And another one's down, and another one's down, And another one bites the dust!! Horray for ya!!!
First I'll show you what was in my mailbox yesterday!!!!!!!!
.............. then I'll go back and read what I have missed the last couple of days!
Thank you JanieW!!!! ... what a perfectly beautiful block ... and yes, it totally fits the idea of what I was looking for when I put forth my MB request list! Right down to remembering to sign your work! You were probably wondering why I had not posted about it ... my road is closed, so haven't been going to the post office on a regular basis, as with the closure, it's a long way around on muddy roads (even though we have lots of snow still!). I never dreamed I'd have a MB so fast, and thinking it'd only be bills, I'd been putting the trek off til I was somewhat near the post office. Yesterday on the way home was the day ... now I feel so bad that I missed out on it!
And what might be the name of this block?? ... I see it as a Broken Churn Dash, but I'm sure it has a proper name!!!
Thanks SO MUCH JanieW!!!! ... seems like a breath of Spring air. Perhaps a chinook coming down from the west?

Lot's of chatter going on!!! I just got home this evening...had a good couple of days in Delaware...Checked out my favorite Amish quilt shop and walked out a very happy camper.....there was a very large wooden clothes dryer that had 2.5" strips of fabric on sale for .25 cents each....I bought 30 of them for my swap...the owner said that it won't always be out front only once in awhile..she told me that because I don't live in the area I would be able to "shop" in the back room when I visit...How's that????? I was walking on air when I left the shop..My sister and I had so much fun picking out the different strips.
QuiltE your MB is so pretty....soft colors...just what you asked for...I love the mr & mrs farmer...block...Where did you get the pattern from??? I"ll bet you had a grand old time shopping!! I know I did!!!
I can't wait to get my MB...I hope it gets here before Saturday...I"ll be on my way to NC April 1st...
Everybody keep busy chatting, reading, sewing, etc...Life is Good...enjoy it!!!
