i know we all have our challenges and that's what makes it life. being dead is no challenge at all. so i choose life and the marvelous unpredictabilty that makes it fun to get up everyday. i get knocked down, but i get up again..sing along if you know the words! i wonder if our discussion of health matters drives some of the joiners off? seems we have a lot fewer this month.
xylie--where are you? you are too quiet! speak up girl!.
i'm very glad you are here. without you i'd still be eating twinkies and wishing i could be thin. now i'm seeing my wishes come true, minus the twinkies! we had fresh wild salmon and jersey corn for dinner. mmm mmmm good! i love reading everyone's posts, and even tho' i may not acknowledge you by name i'm thinking of you, praying for you, and wishing you the best and thanking you for being there! i am losing, i am in control.

Hi everyone. Hope you get this message. Our computers hard drive froze so we don't have a computer right now. My DGS is letting me use his laptop but since I've never used one it's touch and go. I did catch up on some of the posts. My system is still screwed up from the meds but I think we're making some progress at getting me back where I need to be. My eating has been totally out of control, I think it's from the new med he gave me to carry over until the others get adjusted. God Bless everyone. I hope things work out soon. I can't wait until I get my computer back. I'll try to keep up on posts.

Don't give up! We all have bad days.
I am grateful you listen to me and tell me to keep on going. Some of us have debilitating illnesses, some have chronic conditions, some have chronic fear...
we all have something to overcome to reach our goals and they are mountains to us, even if they are just hills to the rest.
My point is to keep on going, keep on walking, keep on controlling your eating habits, keep on encouraging and strengthening one another...don't stop,
I AM Losing!

Hello, y'all. Sounds like we all need to have a do over. My visiting granddaughter has moved on to her next stop so I have today to myself. Today I rested. Tomorrow I will get back to work on lots of things, including my weight. I've gained two pounds, so I have four to lose to meet my goal.
MJ, sorry you're grounded. I spent last Summer in a wheelchair so I can sympathize, except mine was just post surgical so there was nothing to be concerned about - just healing time. A wheelchair would give you some mobility and still keep the leg elevated.
Missy, you haven't come this far to mess up now. Forget your minor indiscretion and keep true to your goal. If the desire for the taste of something becomes too much, then play with it, smell it, put it in your mouth, but do not swallow it. Don't waste your food allotment on inappropriate foods.
Xylie, you've had a week of it, haven't you?
Here's something to cheer you all up. Hard to look at the smiling bride and groom and not smile.

I just got home from taking my DGD home after a week of her visiting here. We had a good time sewing and playing with my new Avante. I did pretty good with my eating. We ordered pizza last night and only ate 1 small piece. I just read a couple days of this thread. I hope everyone has a better day tomorrow since it a new day and a new start. Don't be too hard on yourself for a slip - we all have them.
