Well, Moratorium Friends, I have slowed down in some ways but I finished 10 dog beds for SPCA. That makes a total of about 3 yards of fabric. Also, made a version of Pat Sloan's "Mini Christmas Charms" tree. That was all stash. Still need to finish the last step of the binding and add label then put it in the Christmas gift pile. Wink, Wink, Wink.

Well done, WMUTeach. All for good causes!

I haven't taken time to figure out how much stash I've used this October, but finished 3 large quilts and 1 baby and only bought the backing and outer borders for one of them and backing for the second; the rest stash fabric.

I taught my husband how to sew last December. He's turned in to my stash-buster. Cannot seem to slow that man down. He loves piecing.

How nice that you can share a love of quilting! I hope you have more than one machine. Pictures, please.

Default Mini Charming Christmas Tree

Here is my version of the Mini Charming Christmas Tree. I tried my stash of 2.5's but I did not think they played well together. (I did not have a good depth of Christmas fabrics. How could that be?) So I pulled out a jelly roll and went at it. I like it much better and I have enough to make three more trees. All four will be gifts.I used stash for background, batting and backing for all. The pattern is easy and accurate. There is also a 5" charm version. So in the next week I will have used up almost all of a jelly roll and made four gifts. Yeah!

WMUTeach, that's gorgeous!

I downloaded both sizes of pattern for that a couple of days ago and have serious intentions...

Lori, that's awesome that your husband enjoys piecing!

WMUTeach, what a beautiful mini. The fabrics are perfect.
