Picked up 4 new old machines last week.. Got home unloaded and told DH I need to go out again. Was just going to the store. He said you going to get a few more machines? Guess everybody has their own addictions.

Lisa (QuiltAddict) has one or two of them if I remember correctly, PM her and she might be able to help you with some information.

I wish I did have some F&R machines. I have seen them listed around here occassionally but they have been out of my price range.

Look forward to seeing all the loot you have been picking up lately Billy? When will the new shop be finished to put them all in?

I thought you got the one that had the nautical theme decals you showed me. And out of all of the machines that you have I can not believe you havent picked one up yet!

But I will start taking some photos of the machines when I get back to the house and post them. I am starting to think my garage is looking like yours with one side almost full of treadles waiting to be refurbished. But I still say you have the better garage!!

see if the rubber wheel on the motor is in good shape and does it turn the balance wheel? price is ok more or less
Thanks Miriam. I bought it and then took it back. My 15K treadle is so nice and needs to be restored. It will be wiser to wait for a Featherweight. I think it was just the frustration of going to 6 thrift stores and finding nothing! Next to nothing the Kenmore looked good. But then my sanity was restored and I took it back.

I hope they are. There was not a way to test except to turn hand wheel. I guess we will see. Will have to get to see first. just had some eye surgery and have missed the board the last few days.
