what info is there for the Minnesota machines? Not sure of model or anything, considering going to look at this tomorrow or Saturday... She also has a White maching/cabinet, and a Singer table (no drawers)
These would need some serious TLC to fixup, not sure if they are worth it? I've never heard of Minnesota, she just mentioned she had one... all 3 are treadles...

The "big box" just covers up the machine head, which doesn't swivel down into the cabinet. Isn't that the White machine's throat plate sitting on the Minnesota?

What is that propeller-looking thingee on top of the Minnesota?

Isn't the Minnesota called a 'coffin top'? The ironwork sorta looks like that on my LaReine that resembles a Davis.

Don't know what it's called - it's where the thread goes thru when it comes off the spool my La Reine has one too. The piece of metal is supposed to be sideways not cockeyed like that one is.

these are on CL near me... just contemplating, but wanted to know if they are worth looking at and trying to fix up? Don't know anything about them except they're in her garage, and she wants to get rid of 'em :) Haven't looked at them yet, are they worth looking at? $50 for all 3

I would be tempted to buy them for $50 - 'course I don't know much but don't think I could resist 'em.
