I love the blocks Sewbiz. Including the modern block.

I love Dolly; her literacy campaign, her donation to Vanderbilt for vaccine development, her support of the LBGT community and she’s really funny! She’s an iconic American songwriter as well as singer. She’s my hero.

I originally made this block for Terriamn during one of my first booms. Her relatives liked it. It’s making another appearance here for SEWBIZ and MarciaLee

Lstew great Steeler Quilt, unfortunately I am a true Minnesota Viking fan and they always lead to disappointment

Sewbiz you have been busy love your blocks

MJP very fun blocks, your book library and Halloween dinner sound like so much fun.

Not a scotch drinker here, I prefer a nice cold Margarita or hubby’s homemade hard strawberry lemonade

We were on the road 14 hours Friday and 12 hours yesterday arriving at new house about 7 last night. Only problem we had was hubby’s map phone apps went bonkers. Of course it always happened when we were in traffic and driving 75 MPH. I have only seen him get wound up a few times in our 33 year marriage but believe me he was so frustrated it was a bit unnerving. Next time I am going to write the directions down rather then try and figure out where we are on the atlas. Decided to take the the scenic route and drove through Texas hill country, it was beautiful.

Trailer is unloaded, now to put everything away. Oh my we have a lovely cactus garden in our back yard and can’t get over how much they grew over the summer. Going to have to read up on trimming cacti if anyone has any hints I would love to hear them

Terri, we learned that the fast minutes were limited. Those are the ones GPS uses. We’d left it on for hours when not needed. Then when we really needed them ….not any left.

Terri, those darned GPS systems will drive you nuts... taking you off course only to drive around in a big square and right back to the course. So crazy.

Our biggest problem was that I was trying to follow GPS directions (cause they are supposed to be accurate and up to date), and hubby was trying to navigate at the same time from a 40 year old Rand McNally Road Atlas. I'd probably rather use the atlas, because you can see everything all laid out flat, but we have got get an updated one! Branson MO wasn't even a thing 40 years ago.

Terri, so glad to see that you arrived safely at your new home. The first several years when we traveled South, we were always checking the GPS and the AAA Trip Tik. Usually, the most intense part of our drive is through Nashville, but we are getting better at navigating through it.

I also think that this is the year for the Minnesota Vikings!
