Loving all the latest finishes. That dragonfly is something else. Was that your own design, Marich ? Weasie, I admire anyone who can quilt on a DSM. I have tried a few times and it is very hard!

Weasier222-What a great baby quilt. I have never done a dimensional pinwheel, but it looks really interesting. Also the quilting you are doing on it is stunning and really sets it off.
Marich52-I love the dragonfly WH. I have a friend who is into dragonflies and a WH like this would be the perfect gift for her. Can you give the name of the pattern. Also, why wouldn't bags count. I have a bag in my UFO stack. Hey, a UFO is a UFO no matter what the size.

Anything I set aside to work on something else ( I guess I have an unofficialy 1-month timer before it hits UFO status). Unless it's a block of the month or ongoing project, as soon as it's not my main focus it becomes a UFO. Works for me, because I rarely work on more than one project at a time. Hence the reason 90% of my UFOs are tops waiting to be quilted.

Since I just started quilting about two years ago - for me, UFO are the ones that I started and lost interest in - and the second group that are ones my Mom started 25+ years ago and never completed.
I tried - I pulled out some blocks for my butterfly quilt. The blocks are all made but I need to applique the bodies on - and they are even already applied so I only need to stitch. I got three done and then wandered off . . .
And I did pull out the hexagon quilt that my Mom had started and started on finishing up the flowers (It was 9 short of what was needed) I did get the fabric cut and got the first round sewing . . .
But then I found Rhonda's block of the month and fell in love with that, but that one won't end up as a UFO as it's almost ready to go on the quilt frame.
I've made pledge that I MUST get something from the old pile done before starting anything new - I just love the part of picking out fabric and cutting pieces. I think sometimes as I'm putting something together, it just does not turn out like I was imagining, and then it's not fun anymore.

Thanks for all the nice comments on the dragonfly. I loaned the pattern to my quilting buddy but we are sewing together this weekend so I will get the pattern name. It is very easy and I just fused the pieces and blanket stitched them.
I'm with you Kristakz...after a project has sat in a bin for a month, it is definitely a UFO. Two years ago, I did a big push to finish UFO tops. Actually finished piecing the first quilt I ever started....25 years ago...it still isn't quilted though

Cute pinwheel. Dragonfliy is so dramatic. Great job done. Keep up the good work everyone. I have had a productive 10 days. I finished six quilts...okay to be honest the smallest is the size of a sheet of paper, but it's hand quilted as is a small table runner. The largest is 30 " square but all I had left was the binding. Nice to have these UFO's and one WIP done. Will try to get picture tomorrow. BB nights are great for hand stitching even though my team lost.

I really like your pinwheel quilt weasier22, it is so fresh and cute!
Everything started is a UFO for me. I never work on something from start to finish but hop around like an excited puppy from project to project. They are always new and interesting or they stay in their box on the shelf until they become that way again.
I am still working on quilting my "to be finished" for this month. The idea of seeing it done is carrying me through some hiccups but I still have lots to do.
My husband has laughingly suggested that I might actually end up cutting it into a couple of placemats in order to call it finished by the end of the month.

A UFO, for me, is any project that has gone beyond the planning stage. It is cut, may be partially pieced, a flimsy done but not layered, a piece quilted but not bound or a quilt or other project just not ready to put into the arms of another person.
I am laughing . If I counted all of the quilts I have planned in my head..... I would never get to the bottom of my UFOs. I still have not counted mine yet for this year and this group. I am scared of the number! Just heard of a new baby in the family and so, well here I go another quilt to do. Plans made and now I need to gather from my stash to get started. Will likely do one more UFO before starting the baby quilt.
