So, how many of you while researching info on vintage machines and usage of vintage machines start folders of the google sites that you found helpful? And how many of you find that you can't find the info that you bookmarked when you are looking for the info to help others? So, you have to just google again. Or when you do recall the bookmarked site where the info is located, you find the site is no longer up; so, you have to google again.

It's so easy to find oneself in the state of confusion while searching through bookmarks.

Time for me to delete bookmarks and organize folders, or just google for the information in the first place.

    :?
If I understood your question correctly, I know what you mean. Did you see this topic on 'my pages' when I posted it? You might find it more helpful than 'bookmarking' googled info.

You are welcome. I have learned to use 'my pages' a lot more since that topic. Did you click on my Profile and see the pages I have categorized? If you have any questions I would be glad to help you out on this. I have found it to me most helpful. After 'bookmarking' quite a few topics and then trying to locate them, it just began to feel like one of my junk drawers.... you might find something you want in there if you swish thingies back and forth long enough. LOL

Anyone remember the name/location of the business in OK with all the old "parts" machines?
Thought I saved it, but cannot find it--and have no clue where it is in all these pages--at least I think it was in here somewhere!!!!!!!
hope someone has it marked....or a better memory....

    Thank you. :-D

Did you notice how I made a description of each website, put a colon mark and then two spaces before I edit/copy the website or whatever I am saving? That way, you can click on the website without having to hit edit each time you want to quickly access a page.

Sure wish I had started way back when Billy opened this shop! One day... maybe, one day I will begin at page 1 and save the incredible info on vintage machines. :-D
