Carriem try and take a test run of the machine, at least seeing and hear it running, another thing to look for is that the rails are straight cause if they are cheaply made they can bow. I hope that makes sense...
QuiltE can't wait to see a full size pic of your quilt
Anael I am so happy that everything went well with Isa, keeping them all in my prayers dear friend
I have not long got home from DD's, had a busy few days, Thursday spent the morning at patchwork cutting and sewing charity quilts, then drove to DD's for lunch. Went shopping for a new dress for me to wear Friday night (yeah I know leave it to the last minute). Friday went to my embroidery club till after lunch when DD arrived and we went to the hairdresser to be made to look respectable, back to her house with an hour and half to spare to both shower and makeup and dresses and high heels on and off to the ball we went. Home just before midnight cause that's when I turn into an old hag slept in until 8am did some laundry then a little bit more shopping, lunch and then I drove home. Phew I am so tired. Chat to you all tomorrow

Yes, we must see Cinderella aka mirabella.
I should be in bed, but I found the camera and decided that Jeanie's beauty must be shown. Notice anything similar about hers and DD's in the bottom left? They're the same pattern, just reversed lights and darks!! How fun! Again, thanks to all three of you!

And the late nighters are very chattery. Lovely block Oksewglad....and I hope your corn all gets planted today!!
Way to go QuiltE; another top ribbon for your work!
Glad to hear from you, Mercysland.
Off to see about the chickens and what we do today; may have to dress out some hens. One insists on being mean and picking on the others...not letting the guineas come into the hen house at night time....so she may be the first one we dress out this morning.

Worked yesterday so lots of catching up to do. Then off to an all day FART at the Fabric Outlets. I'll probably spend today what I earned yesterday--but, that's the only reason I drag my butt to work!!
QE, we are proud of you!!! That red flange really adds to your already bright and cheery quilt. I can't wait to see a whole pic of it. You rock, girl!!
OK, that's a lovely block from Jeanie. The colors and contrast are great.
Ggal, if you are serious about wanting some orphan blocks, I'd be glad to open The Box and send you some. Then maybe I won't have to build The Shed. I have everything from 3" up to 16" (I just like to make blocks) so they may make for some interesting charity quilts.
Carrie, my quilty friend has that set up and she bought it used. Had some trouble setting it up and getting tensions right at first because of no shop support. But if you or DH are handy, you'll figure it out. OMG you get so much done now that you'll be able to finish even more!!!
Cinderella, I mean Mirabelle, would love to see you all dressed up. I wear heels about 2 times a year and have to practice walking in them LOL. Glad you've been having fun.
Leaving for the FART in a few minutes. I've mentioned my lack of a sense of direction. There are all kinds of detours to my friends house. For Christmas MrJanRn got me a Garmin, my car has a navigational system, and I have written instructions. Keep your fingers crossed that I don't end up in Montreal or Kentucky LOL!!
Have a great day, ladies!

Hi Everyone, just glanced thru the 10-12 pages and there is so much happening...all for the good I can see...
Carriem...LA"s also need to be as level as possible to assure it will glide over the rails smoothly....
I have been and still am overwhelmed with all that's going on in my life right now and when that happens I tend to retreat into my little world and try to figure out a way to deal with it... I've managed to do the sewing necessary to keep up with most of my obligations...sooooo if I'm absent from the conversation you'll know why...H.
